I will never understand why anyone with their vehicle surrounded by police would not just comply.  Own the fact you were caught. Deal with it and move on.

Even if she did not run over the officer and got by him it still would not have ended well.   They would have caught her.   

Almost all of these cases come down to not following directions.  Listen, follow instructions, and nothing happens other than dealing with your crime.

This is my take on it:

I think when the officer in front of the car pulled his gun, she responded out of fear, and tried to get away. Ta'Kiya made a poor and hasty decision, but I don't think she was "using her car as a weapon". RIP to her, even though this was ultimately her fault.

Here’s the reason: because in some cases black people who comply with all instructions are still shot to death. 

Does this happen often? No. Has it happened enough so that is in the collective memory of every black person in this country and makes them distrust police enough so that some of them have an instinct to simply try and get away? Absolutely. And unless you are a black person yourself you will never truly get what it’s like. I don’t get it either, but I at least try to empathize and don’t pretend that as a white guy I am treated exactly the same by police.

It's in irrational fear.  Kind of like the War of the Worlds broadcast in the late '30's that scared everyone.  Black people getting killed by cops is such a LOW probability that it shouldn't even register on the radar, but the liberal media and Democrats - whom I blame 100% for this shooting and a bunch of others - have convinced black people that there is a racist cop EVERYWHERE waiting to shoot you dead.

You are mostly right, but IMO it's more accurate to say that what media and social media have done is by hammering the examples, it convinces people there is danger where it doesn't apply to them largely.   I am sure there are sketchy areas where it's reasonable to cautious on both sides of that police encounter.   But as an example, the black manager at my store who recently got pulled over and was making comments and jokes about getting shot - yeah, she's not in one of those areas.   

I just wish most conservatives could turn that media scrutiny on themselves as well.

Why is this even a topic? Every person of every race who fights or poses threat or are resisting police put the cops in danger for doing their job. Some of them, no matter the race, get themselves killed by fighting back. If it's determined the police were unjustified in their killing the little bltches like that fock george floyd, then they go to prison and lose their careers.
