I missed it if it was mentioned, but the reason people tear down posters of kidnapped Israelis is because those posters humanize the victims.  It is very difficult to support an evil, soulless cult like Hamas if you have to face the fact that you support a group that seeks out Jewish babies, women, and innocent victims to torment.

For the same reason, the MSDNC inundates us with pictures of suffering Palestinians.  To increase their humanization in our eyes.

Detroit's Muslim community is relatively peaceful, mild mannered, and decently assimilated, certainly compared to Europe. I had a ton of Muslim classmates in Wayne State University back in the day (there's a high probability I took classes alongside Rashida Talib), and they were good, kind people to me but my goodness, there was frequently a deep anti-Jewish resentments percolating under the surface.

With the rhetoric coming out of the Middle East being so toxic right now,  it doesn't surprise me that Dearborn would host a rally in support of Hamas, and that at least one murderous nutbag willing to go to extreme lengths to bring their Middle East resentments here has killed a prominent Jewish lady. 

Correct me if I'm wrong, the body count of murdered Jews on US soil since this terror strike two weeks ago is one... this one lady here in Detroit (I'm not holding my breathe on a different reason) ... or have there been more?  I did see some fights at rallies that brought two sides too close to each other.
