At 35 to 1, I love Cleveland's chances.   I have $200 down on them winning.  If they can just make it there, I will hedge.

I will be rooting for the Packers, of course, but I do not share your optimism.  Their injury report is still too substantial.

You and others havent been very optimistic about this team all year.  So we may have them right where we want them.

Lions will beat the Rams.

I wouldn't be surprised to see GB beat Dallas..They look really good.

Bucs beat the Eagles.   Since they put Matt Patricia in charge of the D, the Eagles have sucked azz.

Bills, Chiefs, Browns win

Difficult to be too optimistic about a team paying so much of its salary cap to Rodgers who is gone and Bahktieri who has only taken a few smaps in the last three years.  Also with 21 players on the injury report this week, up from the 14 to 16 they have had in recent weeks an most of the year.  Finally, Lafleur's coaching has left me less than enthused*.  Every game he has some instance like letting the time run out at the end of the half yesterday.  Also the kicking game leaves me flat.  I think this Anders Carlson has missed more extra points this year than Crosby did in his career.

All that said I am very bullish on the future.  Love has established his place and Clifford, as his backup, looks very promising.  The packers found at least 6 W.R.'s in the last two years and two T.E.'s.  The team is young and gelling.  I mean here we have a playoff team, the youngest team in the league, with no pro bowlers and substantial injuries and they made the playoffs.

I will be rooting hard for the improbable upset.  With Jones and Alexander back they are improved an just may surprise Dallas.  We both know Mccarthy is capable of making mistakes and Prescott too.

* I am aware enthused is not a word.

NFC North will be he best division in football next year.   Least it sure is looking like it.

Well Chicago is rich in draft capital an the Packers are young and do have extra picks as well for rodgers and Douglas, so they should improve.  Detroit could do nothing in the draft or free agency and still be expected to improve as LaPorta and gibbs make that second year jump.  Minnesota I don't know about as they have questions around their Q.B.

will see but that on paper is a SB team and what you want being top 5 in both and San Fran is close but not.

Hard to have any confidence in Dak/McCarthy. They do have a great team with what seems the least injuries.  They need someone to knock off SF to make the Super Bowl.

They would have to take it to SF out of the gate on offense and take them out of their game plan. Or someone else beat them like you said.

Purdy can easily puke on his shoes. He's never been here before.

Nobody hates Dallas more than me and I bad-mouthed Dak Prescott all off-season, but after watching several of their final games, I think this could be their year. Even when Dallas lost to my Dolphins 3 weeks ago, it wasn't Prescott's fault. Dude was making beautiful throws - threading needles, perfect fade passes, good decisions. SuperBowl LVIII:

Cowboys vs Ravens

I'll take Cowboys and the points.

Not a prediction, a certainty. The refs will screw up a few times , some people will be livid, others will be smug, and the shitty officiating will continue. Accept it. You’ll be better off when it inevitably happens.

Yup. I don't see it.

SF and Baltimore are worlds better than anyone else in their conferences. If either get tripped up it'd be Baltimore by Cleveland since division rivals know each other better than anyone and Cleveland has already shown that they can beat them in Baltimore this year. In the NFC, barring injury, SF is pretty much a lock.

NFC Wildcards aren't very good, well Philly can be plenty good if they can wake up. To help them out they have the easiest first round opponent of all, but their team is collapsing and they have lost to teams worse than Tampa Bay recently.

Pitt and GB are one-and-done. LARams do have a shot at Detroit, a better shot that Houston has at the Browns. I'd much rather have seen the Lions get the Packers. But the Rams are still too top heavy and Detroit D plays better vs pocket QBs. Houston feels like surprise crashing dinner guests. It's different with Tampa Bay since we knew all along the NFC South would get to submit an entry and even there, their least bad team isn't in.

Personally, I do think Miami is better than Kansas City but I remember how they lost to the Chiefs (KC was also the better team that day which sometimes doesn't match up with who gets the 'w') on a neutral field and now they play in Arrowhead, so I can't go there.

Detroit looked better than Dallas when they recently played. It's easier for Dan Campbell to fire up Lions who know they're better and got cheated while the Cowboys go in knowing they are inferior and stole the game.

Its all so easy!  You would make good coin betting.

Not really. The favorites should cruse because the stratification is more pronounced and higher than usual this year. Its not just the the favorites are playing at home, but that other than KC/Miami and head-up-their-tush-push-Philly and TBB, the favorites are also significantly better.
