I can't think of a HC in the playoffs who needs to do anything specific to keep their job. Tomlin will make his own decision and deserves to. Harbaugh has been there a while and I suppose getting the #1 seed and being bounced by Houston or Pitt could lead to a 'message is getting stale' situation? Would be a bad decision though. 

this was McCarthy's 4th? season as HC. 2 playoff appearances and 1 win in his first 3 seasons. 2 division titles including this year... it would have to be a blowout loss to Green Bay today.
