Lost another one of my close friends

Recommended Posts

Grew up with him, went to school with him, played ball with him, went to college with him, hung out all the time with him, etc. Really great guy. He was found 2 days before his birthday this weekend facedown with pills all around him. Fentanyl to be exact. I know he had some messed up things happen to him but we all thought he was doing much better. First girl he was with said her son was his. Few years he spent raising it & payin for things only to find out it wasn’t. Another girl years later got pregnant with his daughter. But she left & didn’t have anything to do with them. So he was raising his daughter on his own. Later, another girl separated from her husband & started a fling with him. He fell in love & thought he found a mom for his daughter finally. But she went back to her husband. Then back to him. Then back to her husband. Back again. Then finally back to her husband cause she was pregnant & it was her husbands kid. So really screwed him over. Really sucks seeing your friends & family pass away. Older I get the more I realize there’s going to be a lot of ppl passing away in the next decade or two so i need to learn to deal with it. I just feel so extremely sorry for his daughter

I am sorry to hear that, I feel bad for his daughter as well.

I hear you on losing people. Was recently mentally going through a list of friends from high school and how many of us (age 47/48) have lost our moms. It used to seem like men passed away first, shorter life span but this list of friends losing mothers first just seems odd to me.

Friends too. I mean, most of mine are mid 40s to mid 50s. Kind of hitting that age where some of us go early.

Fentanyl. I wonder if he knew what he was taking or if he's just another victim of biden's open borders. Shltty.

Sorry to hear.   I am seeing it more and more as i get older.  I lost my Father and three really good friends all to cancer last year.  Dad was 84 .  Two of my friends were in their 50's and one in his 60's.

Best wishes to his family and friends. My sister lost her 17 year old son two years ago. I know of more than I don’t care to think about.

My condolences. He had a tough time finding the right relationship plus drugs in the end.

Where was the last place you saw him?

(Obligatory)

That's rough. Life can be focked up for some people. My condolences to you and his family.
