Saw a lady this morning, maybe 100 pounds. Outside, alone, double masked.

I know, I know. Maybe she is sick. She might get the trees sick too, or the birds?

Still stunned by how easily people can be brainwashed.

Maybe she has allergies or some other health issue that require her to wear a mask outdoors.

Why didn't people with allergies wear masks outside prior to 2020?

I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic’s. His hair was perfect.

My cousin had to have a lung transplant a few years back. She wore a mask everywhere outside for years after. Who knows what this woman’s circumstances are? If she’s 100 lbs she may be seriously ill.

I live in community in L.A. that is about 40% Korean and I saw folks wearing masks in the market years before the Covid pandemic.

You have no idea why she was wearing a mask.

I lived in a community with no Asian people that were brainwashed by their governments. Prior to 2020, no one wore masks outside.

No. A hairy handed gent that ran amuck in Kent was though. Stay away from him, he’ll rip your lungs out. Then you’ll have to wear a mask.

I doubt the Asians in the area that I live were brainwashed by the government prior to 2020 about wearing masks.

When I see a woman like this, my first instinct is to hope she has some illness and isn't some mental thing.  But then I think, self, why would you wish an illness on this woman?

Which makes me think... it's almost always a woman.  Do you ever see a guy by himself masked up outside?  🤔

Women are far more easily brainwashed by what they see on TV.

My looney left sister in law (34B maybe) still wears a mask in public places.   She has no medical issues.  Except back in 2020 she flat out said she was sure Covid was going to kill her.

When I had the flu last year and absolutely had to go the store to get some stuff, I wore a mask from the time I got out of the car until I got back.  Just figure if I can do anything to lessen the chance anyone else can catch this, I should.  :dunno:

Yes...  My brother-in-law masks up all the time when out because his daughter has a serious heart issue and can't afford to get sick...

Yes.  I don't trust people who hide their faces in public. What are they really up to?  Peaceful protesting?

Did your brother-in-law miss the part where masks don’t protect the person wearing the mask?  They’re designed to protect the mask-wearer from spreading his own illness to others.

I lived in Japan in the '80's and lots of people wore masks. That was 40yrs ago. Maybe you have no idea what you're talking about. 🤦‍♂️

To clarify, when I say "outside," I don't mean in a grocery store, or coming in our out of a store.  I presume that those people, like you, were sick and being courteous.  I go to Mayo Clinic more often than I'd like, and lots of people are masked up there.  Heck, many of my appointments require me to walk through the chemo waiting room (seems like a poor design, now that I think of it).  Those poor people are immuno compromised, so I don't blame them even if they are just being cautious.

I'm talking about the person walking down the street, alone, masked.

I sometimes shoot hoops at a park near my house, and a school bus drops off HS kids in the afternoon.  I still see kids walking through the park with masks.  Always girls.  It's definitely a lack of confidence in their looks.  Except for that rare kid that lives with posty's relatives.

It has never been proven that wearing a mask lessons the chance of somebody else catching the flu. There a number of studies that show masks don’t help.

did you wear a mask when you had the flu before 2020 if the answer is no, that is the point of this thread

Never ceases to amaze me how much the "freedom loving patriots" care about how other people conduct themselves, even when said conduct has ZERO influence on their own lives.
