Cut off all the free rides in hotels after 6 months and support. If you can’t find a job picking strawberries or cleaning hotels, deport. 6 months is retroactive to when they got here.

Tie path to citizenship to military service.  If Pedro and his family want to be Americans, let them all in after Pedro serves in Army.  If Pedro cannot serve, deport. 

Pedro also has to have a Honorable Discharge as well.  No citizenship for medical discharges or any other types of discharges.  Honorable only and a 4 year hitch.  Active Duty, not reserve.

Pedro's wife also has to serve, btw.  Equality and all that. 

Citizenship only comes to the person serving and any dependent children they may have under the age of 18.  Spouses and significant others must serve independently to get their own citizenship.

Do you know what a "sanctuary city" is? It literally is not a "invite" to "come here". It just means "hey if you are here. And you are scared to report a crime because you are undocumented. We want you to report the crime and we wont rat you out to the feds".  Thats pretty much it. 
 

Saying all that I understand that would invite illegals to cluster in those cities.  But I also want them to feel safe calling 911 if a Legal person is committing a crime.  Let's say you came here Illegaly 10 years ago.  And you see your next door neighbor "Steve from Wisconsin" beating the s--t out of his wife.  But you don't want to call 911 because you are are afraid of being deported. I guess Martha just gets to take her beating.  In this scenario the illegal has been here 10 years.  Hasn't committed any crimes other than being a sous chef at your favorite restaurant Applebee's.

1: Might as well be an invite, as it also says that if you get caught committing a crime, & officers suspect you're in the country illegally, we'll refuse to contact ICE.

When it comes to "Sanctuary Cities". Law abiding illegals should feel free not to be reported for calling the police or just living their life's.   And those who break the law should not be deported.... They should be in jail with a maximum sentence (if it's a felony or misdemeanor that requires jail time) for whatever they did with no parole.    Then deported after their sentence is up. It's a pretty simple win win.
