The Democrats are in trouble, they lost their base. Trump picked up an insane amount of Black, Hispanic and Muslim votes

A coalition that, at it's core, is much more religiously conservative than white America.

When I saw the Muslims & Christians uniting to protest the woke school agenda in Michigan last year, well, the writing was on the wall.

These communities don't want any part of the perverse pedo white left wing agenda ... the pendulum swung way too far for them this time.

The Democratic Party is on the ropes - if they continue to kowtow to their fringe lunacy, they may not win this back for decades.

Well called Jon.  You da man

When you understand the corruption, the truth is easy to see.  It has been painfully obvious the establishment uses the media to control the narrative to manipulate public opinion for decades.   The pollsters who the establishment funds and prop up are always cheating their data 4 points or so.  It is hidden in plain sight if you dig into their numbers.  The honest pollsters who are ridiculed and belittled by the media are the ones to watch closely and put more weight into.

Just saw that the get out and "Vote" campaign and commercials actually fueled Trump winning.  Not sure that was the intent.

Many first time voters voted for Trump and Harris lost some black and Latino vote to Trump.

Harris-Walz combo was a losing ticket from the start.  Harris was tied to Biden and Walz acts like a Bozo.  To lose the popular vote by 5.5 million is a statement of rejection.

Because the country is more important than the man?  Because retribution takes us back and not forward.  Because sometimes the best retribution is pity on ones enemies.

Guessing abortion wasn't all that big of an issue.  Trump gets re-elected (and won the popular vote), Republicans took over 4 congress seats (3 Senate, 1 House), and won 8 of 11 gubernatorial races.

Interestingly, Hillary won CA by 4 million votes, Harris by only 1.7M.  Hillary won NY by 1.7M, Harris by 800k.

Retribution?  It is not about retribution. It is about fixing a corrupt system and getting those who abused their power out of the system.  It is about transparency and accountability.

Screw that.  Trump has been given a mandate.  Our bloodlust for everything these monsters have done to our country needs satiated.

I agree that the court system may have well been abused.  Still, one only has to look to the post immediately following yours to see that same may, not will but may seek retribution.   How history will treat the "lawfare is not yet written, though the left media tried mightily to do so.  Now that legacy can be reexamined and I think it should, for historical clarity, but I believe magnanimy may be best for the country.  I do not I am pleased with the markets apparently moving robustly forward.

The real corruption is hidden deep inside the three-letter agencies which our current system of checks and balances has no answer for.  Changing out enemies with friends is not the answer.  We need to limit their scope and power and make structural changes which provides oversight, protection of citizens rights, standards of conduct, and a means to hold them accountable when they do abuse their power.

I have no problem with justice.  I have no problem with truth or historical accuracy.  I just wish to avoid getting bogged down in the past when the future becons.  I believe it is tough to walk into a future taht includes an ill-recorded historical past and so correcting that is important, but not as important as addressing pressing issues such as the border, american manufacturing, and golbal peace.

Let the new leaders of the DOJ take care of cleaning that place up and holding people accountable. Trump can work on those other things.  Both need doin.

Now that it’s over, think about who the democrats ran this election… Harris who got trounced in the democrat primary and an extremely unlikable person with no qualifications, and Wallz who is by far the most cringy political candidate I have seen.
How was this not more of a slaughter?

I had heard she would not participate in the coup and the 25th Amendment threat unless she was the nominee.  Her ambition and double-cross put them in this position.  That being said, there was still a lot of evidence that the steal was still on. However, the margin was too big to steal without the cover of the China Virus.  Until we mandate states clear their voter rolls and voter ID, our system is at risk. Hopefully, Trump gets secure election legislation through quickly.

This is what I have thought.   I was jokingly asking how Kamala got so many less votes than old failing Biden.

But really thr Dems are dumb.  They drop Biden and put in his VP.  What exactly is she supposed to run on?  If she says she wont change anything which she did in a way...then that is just blah.  If she says shes going to fix and change things then people wonder what part of thr last 4 years has she even had a part in?

The Dems tied their hands behind their back and just went with it because they thought the constant Teump attacks would be enough win.  Pretty lazy.  They have to be in panic that they werent able to produce enough sheep and people didnt just run with the narrative they hammered for 4 years.  The POC vote.  They have to be getting twitchy at this point realizing their rhetoric isnt fooling as many as they believed it would.  That people may start to be slowly waking up.

I think we can point to the importance of abortion to a large extent.  And then past that you might find that people are immovable on their politics.  No matter what you show them they will insist their original position remains the proper one.  I think people struggle to admit they were wrong, across our society.

In part the problem arises that the hysteria they create is tough to unwind.    Once you label a group of people as evil and fascist....how do you draw back down from that?  Liberals view anything outside of their bubble as evil, that is a stark line to draw.....do you dare flirt with that line? Do you dare moderate at all?  How can you moderate toward something you have defined as the worse evil in the world?

Liberalism is more cult that political movement.

I want the JFK files unsealed finally. Trump needs to follow through on that.  60 years is long enough and maybe RFK jr holds him to it.

I did see a twitter post that said women were more concerned about buying eggs and milk than  getting an abortion.

Spot on

And that makes sense right?  I think most women are not in the market for an abortion and are not really all that worried about it.

I think most women see access to abortion as important though, and will lean into that.

Still, you have to rank these things, and if abortion is #4 or #5 on your list.....you might not vote according to that issue.
