So no talks about voter fraud?

Recommended Posts

One cannot help, but be amused that the very thing we have always suspected Democrats of doing, illegal use of ballots, is something they freely admit to doing in Pennsylvania

There are a lot of counties in CA that are basically Nebraska.  Nobody wants to live in those counties. Especially after Trump deports half the people living in those counties and they can't find workers.

Update: Trump 76.4, Harris 73.7.  California alone still probably over 1 million votes to count.

Harris down -7.6 million vs Biden (yet people like the racist @iam90sbaby still spouting verifiably false numbers in other threads), Trump up 2.2 million vs 2020.

I don't give a sh!t about the popular vote that isn't how this game is played dummy. Take your L and shut the fock up.

MAGA Rep Accused of Committing ‘Voter Fraud’ to Go on Bill Maher’s Show

One of Donald Trump’s top allies in Congresshas been accused of committing “voter fraud” after he had another member cast a vote for him so he could appear on Bill Maher’s show.

Byron Donalds, of Florida, was slammed by Jim McGovern on the House floor Tuesday, with the latter lawmaker claiming Donalds broke procedure on Friday with his vote-by-proxy.

“Let’s just call this what it is,” McGovern said. “It’s voter fraud under the rules that the Republicans have put into place.”

The Massachusetts Democrat pointed out that Donalds was among those who backed ending proxy voting once Mike Johnson declared votes outside the Capitol were unconstitutional.

“Today, House Republicans will vote to END proxy voting once and for all,” Donalds posted to X on Jan. 9, 2023. “The House of Representatives isn’t a tech company. Its members should work IN PERSON in the People’s House!”

I love how you had to quote your own post multiple times hoping to get responses. Were you having a lonely evening?

I definitely think voter fraud exists. Enough to really swing an election? probably not but I think its naive to believe it's not an issue. I am shocked that there are states (including my own) which do not require identification when you show up to vote.

(I don't live in NY... just an example)

Quote

New York City Department of Investigation

In 2013, the New York City Department of Investigation (DOI) sent 63 people to polls to attempt to vote under ineligible voters' names as part of an investigation. DOI reported that 61 people were able to do so.[4] DOI's website describes the department as "the City's independent Inspector General (IG), with oversight of City agencies and commissions, elected officials, employees, contractors, and those who receive benefits from the City."[5]

The report stated the following about the investigation:

After receiving an allegation from a former BOE employee that ineligible voters remained on the voter rolls, DOI checked multiple databases at random to generate a list of approximately 175 individuals who had either died, become a convicted felon, or had moved outside the City. Using that list, DOI ascertained that they had each at one time been registered voters in the City. During DOI’s Citywide 2013 Election Day investigative operations, DOI sought to determine whether any of them remained in BOE’s registration books and to test whether investigators using the names of those ineligible individuals would be permitted to vote. DOI found that 63 of the ineligible individuals (or 36%) were still listed as eligible voters in the registration books at poll sites. The majority of those 63 ineligible individuals remained on the rolls nearly two years or longer since a death, felony conviction, or move outside of the City.

DOI investigators posed as the 63 ineligible individuals still on the voter rolls and were permitted to obtain, mark, and submit ballots in the scanners or the lever booths in 61 instances (or approximately 97%).2 In five instances, DOI investigators in their twenties and thirties posed as individuals whose ages, as recorded in the registration books, ranged from 82 to 94, and despite the obvious disparity, the investigators were given ballots or access to lever booths without question by the BOE poll workers.

BOE personnel explained that ineligible individuals might remain on the rolls pending receipt and verification of various notifications that BOE receives from the New York State Board of Elections (“State BOE”) and other sources, including, for example, verbal reports from voters of changes in residence or from family members about the death of a voter.[6]

As for whoever the guy is in your gotcha twitter link, as far as I know it is completely legal to be registered in multiple states, obviously illegal to vote in multiple states. Was he voting in maryland as well? A quick google search on this topic tells me there have been no accusations that he voted in both states during any election so this doesn't sound like much... As for the fairness of voting in a state you don't reside in, I have no idea. People have residences in multiple states but I would assume you are supposed to vote in the same state you claim legal residence for tax purposes? When you are attending college or grad school you are allowed to vote in either the state you are attending school or the state of your parents residence and it sounds like this guy was in the navy for a while? Perhaps similar rules apply? :dunno:   It doesn't sound like he's casting a ballot for someone else, living or deceased, or voting in multiple states.

Yes thank you for pointing out the hypocrisy of GC righties, who often like to post things like “where my libtards at?” in threads that make a Democrat look bad, or who will say “the difference is we actually call out Republicans who do bad things!”

Yet no one will even acknowledge the possibility of potential fraud here.  Yes, the alleged issue is that PA law says it needs to be your permanent residence in order to vote there (and there is data to suggest that is not the case for Posobiec):

https://codes.findlaw.com/pa/title-25-pacsa-elections/pa-csa-sect-25-1302/

(3) An individual shall not be considered to have gained a residence in an election district if the individual comes into that district for temporary purposes only without the intention of making that election district a permanent place of abode.

(4) If an individual removes to another state with the intention of making that state the permanent residence, the individual shall be considered to have lost residence in this Commonwealth.

What makes this story notable is that 1) Posobiec is a very prominent figure within MAGA-land, and 2) he was of course a big proponent of the claim that 2020 was stolen.

So right off the bat, #3 in what you quoted would not apply to him. His parents are PA residents and he at least was a PA resident and went to college there. It is even possible that a good chunk of the time he was in Maryland, he would not have been considered a resident, i.e naval service or only being there for work purpose, as your state of legal residency trumps where you are stationed.

#4 would be the thing to look at. Again, it is not illegal to be registered to vote in more than one state but he should be voting in his state of legal residence for tax purposes.

I'm not pointing out any hypocrisy. You can apply whatever you want to my comment about your lonely day/evening, if you wish. Both sides do the exact same thing on this board, yourself included. It only took you 4 hours to LOL at your own post.

I don't live in MAGA land as either a MAGA or a MAGA hater so i've never heard of him until now and I don't read the Bucks County Courier Times

also, i know you love twitter or x or whatever... so this guy is likely a moron but he posted himself voting in PA in 2024. I don't think anyone intentionally doing something illegal is going to post it... especially such a supposedly prominent figure.  I would venture to guess that he feels it's a valid loophole he can exploit to vote in a swing state. His wife votes in MD because, of course, she was not ever a resident and registered voter in PA.

the more i read about this it seems to be much less of a voter fraud issue and much more of a voting regulation issue that needs to be addressed.

Here’s Posobiec meeting in person with Trump/Patel/Noem/Bondi etc.   You shouldn’t have to live in “MAGA-land or anti-MAGA land” to know who he is
