Why do you all pretend helping the disadvantaged is wrong?

Recommended Posts

It's a MAGAturd obsession point established through the usual misinformation channels.

They'll believe whatever their chosen infotainment overlords tell them.

Because those who take advantage of the system who shouldn’t, hurt those who need it.

They're bullies.  They like to be on top and mock those that aren't.  They think it's weak to help those that need help. Garbage people.

Conservatives are generous with their own money.

Liberals are generous with other people’s money.

Sure is. Comparing the NFL draft order method to redistribution of wealth is more than a little out there.

How much money and time did you spend last year helping the less fortunate? Because I can PROMISE you that what I do for the less fortunate in 1 year is more than you'll do in your lifetime.

You Liberals always want to point fingers and spew your BS. Meanwhile you're all the biggest hypocrites on the planet.

This is why I'm fine with a five year lifetime limit on Welfare. If you can't find a job in five years, tough schit. Physically handicapped people aren't held to the five year limit.

I need to get this idea to Trump.

Yup. Unless you're permanently disabled then there's no reason why you can't get a job. And if you're uneducated, that's on you. My Daughter is 12 and she could work at McDonald's mopping floors. Excuses don't work for me,. maybe for Peenie.

I'm tired of it.

Define disadvantaged?

I know of two family/friends personally that take advantage of a LOT of social services and they are 100% capable of working full time. There is no physical, mental or other type of disability that would eliminate their need to work.

Are you speaking of people who "just don't make enough" and need food stamps?

I contribute and donate to causes that *I* want to, knowing that my tax dollars go to people who use and abuse the system is what frustrates me. There's no checks and balances on that, or limits, etc. There's a limit on unemployment insurance, why wouldn't there be for other types of social services?

I am also speaking as a Californian, where a LOT of our tax dollars go to social services of some kind or another.

I just want you all to stop defining the poor and needy by looking at the scammers and those who are unmotivated to work. Sometimes people need help, temporarily.

If you can understand why the Titans and Browns need help you should also understand why people who fall on hard times need help too.

There's two different arguments here. They're not one in the same. Your arguing for both and making zero sense. You sound like a DEI babbling idiot.

THERE'S THOSE WHO NEED HELP AND THERE'S THOSE WHO TAKE HELP.

Figure it out

I am more than OK with offering a temportary helping hand to those who, through no fault of their own, have fallen on hard times.  I oppose being compelled through a confiscatory tax system to be forced to permanently support those who affirmatively sought out and now embrace their "hard times".

This.

I don't think any of us would refuse to help a truly needy person if it is within our means to do so.

I also don't think any of us would voluntarily give money to a deadbeat.

So do you want to put a salary cap on all the individual citizens and business investments in the US too?

If you start walking across the street a second before the walk signal turns on you have to go back previous corner that you were at as a penalty.

If you drop your wallet or purse it's fair game to anyone who jumps on it first.

You can tackle the fock out of anyone you want but can't lead with the crown of your head.

SNAP is designed to only be temporary and has work requirements and a limit of three months per year.   Just as some of you are suggesting these programs should be designed.

The opportunity to utilize the system longer falls to those with dependents.   So they can basically qualify for their kids benefits without the work requirements.

Do we need to make the work requirements mandatory even with kids at home? And then do we need to have a discussion on childcare after that?

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Peenie, you have never answered my question on why you vote against school choice.

Why are you against school choice?

Set a fish down near a blind man and watch him say, Oh, Hello Kamala!
