Gepetto 1,288 Posted January 30 Report: Tower asked Jet to change runways and they did alter their approach as directed by Air Traffic Control. The military helicopter was not broadcasting ASDB. The helicopter had a crew of 3 (per U.S. Official) and was not carrying any VIPs. US Army: Black Hawk was ours. Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is a technology that allows aircraft to broadcast their position, altitude, and other information to ground stations and other aircraft. ADS-B broadcasts information once per second. Flight path: https://x.com/ADSBex/status/1884793847068164379/photo/1  https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/live-updates-american-airlines-flight-crashes-into-potomac-river-near-reagan-national/3829292/

RLLD 4,143 Posted January 30 If you have never had the experience of landing at Reagan I can tell you its odd.  The sensation is that the plane is moving in an usual manner, like its moving a little more extreme, and then as you are landing you look out and it seems like you are right at the water level.....its more exciting than a usual landing

Doesn't matter what they look like. They have to be talented..." "I do want to point out that, various articles, that appeared prior to my entering office. And here's one. The FAA's diversity push includes focus on hiring people with severe intellectual and psychiatric disabilities. That is amazing. And then it says FAA says people with severe disabilities are most underrepresented segment of the workforce. And they want them in. And they can be air traffic controllers. I don't think so. Un-FOCKING-believable Yep, as tasteless as @squistion’s post was last night, it doesn’t even begin to compare to Trump’s tastelessness and idiocy here. Squis is, after all, only a poster on an obscure website, like the rest of us. Trump is the President of the United States, and as usual he behaves like an unruly 4th grader. Plus he has to be the most divisive politician in our history. He never has any solution other than to blame others. 1
