A logical person making an argument based on A would then abandon that argument once A is proven false. 

But for liberals, A wasnt really important anyway. They simply start with priors and then try and make the pieces fit. That is why when A is proven false they get mad and make excuses. 

Another move in the liberal playbook is to look at somebody's argument based on ABCD and then nitpick at A using less then cedible means. Then pretend A is false and use that to defeat the whole argument.
