Sinclair broadcasting group,  the largest affiliate of ABC that airs Kimmel, called on Kimmel to apologize and make a meaningful donation to Kirk and turning point USA.  they are going to air a Kirk tribute in Jimmy Kimmel's time slot.  They said that regardless of ABC's plans for the show they will not return it to the air until they are confident it will uphold appropriate standards.

Also, I’m guessing the amount of furious calls they received as well as their advertisers was the last straw. Roseanne was fired for calling an ugly chick ugly. This leftist retard denigrated half the country. Lastly, we own the airwaves retards. We do not license them to the DNC to spread objective falsehoods about us. ABC is literally mandated by law to air a news show and can use the airwaves for public good, the whole public.

They have also made bids to acquire another media company, which would require FCC approval.  As we saw with the skydance deal, in order to get FCC approval you need to pay off Trump, or at least Garner favor with him.  Getting rid of Kimmel will do that.
