This dude used to come in the store. He was a cool cat, smart. Retired scientist of some sort from Dow. Anyway, he's old and his body is breaking down and he was telling me how he used to wonder why old people moved so damn slow. He looked at me and with a bit of anger in his voice answered, Focking PAIN!!

Last year was my first in prolly 20 that I didn't play fantasy football. Went to read a few threads and check out the rankings. It amazed me how out of the loop I became in two short years. If I had to draft a team right now I'd suck.

I dropped out of both of my local leagues,not getting my additional receivers or ST turned on this season,going to spend more time at the lake and take a giant step away from the NFL.Been playing since '93 in one of the leagues so will see what the withdraw is like.

I found this place by accident while using the main boards. Clicked on a link and couldn't resist. All the tump love, had to register and reply. I had never posted on an internet message board before or since.

 

I don't use the main board as much as I used to. I don't play in any leagues anymore. I find fanduel and draftkings more fun now. I still read some start em sit ems. Maybe look over some rankings, check matchups, etc. I'm sure I'll use it more than I visit here during the season.
