In historic cases I have real concerns over the appearance of a bias, whether there may actually be one or not.

This comes up every couple of years it seems. Sports teams represent the city or region from which they hail. In many cases the locals helped pay for the stadiums the teams play at. The teams have massive local outreach and charity programs. IOW, the community is (literally) invested and takes pride in the team and as such refers to that team as their team. Can we lock this thread now?

Why do people ask questions, when it's apparent from their replies they had no interest in the answers offered?

Much like Julius Caesar and JFK, Trump wqs surrounded by traitors. He won’t make that mistake this time. No more Mr. Nice Guy.

As expected, you guys were fine with it when the Dems tried it but think it's a crime when Trump tried it. Just one more thing, in the long list of things, that Trump was not the first to do but is the first to be charged with a crime for doing. Another ball of political sh!t the left is throwing against the wall in the hopes that it sticks. You would be ashamed if you had an ounce of integrity.

They nominally approved deals because that was their cog. They always did. Unless you work for a finance company, you are the definition of a cog. No different than HR or the custodial staff. You can be replaced by any thousand other cogs who can run Excel spreadsheets. Apparently you don't understand the inherent superior value of top-line growth vs. cost cutting. Carry on, boyo. Or, prove me wrong, and send me a copy of your company annual report that says that their corporate charter is for finance drones to find places to cut costs. Didn't think so, boyo.

Good luck dude. If you aren't being ripped off at stores and restaurants and events, you will be at risk on the streets.

Fascism is a right-wind idiology. You don't get to project that on the left. You don't get to project Nazis, neo-Nazis, the KKK, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, skinheads, Boogaloo Boys, etc., onto the right. Accept that these represent the nasty side of the far right, just like the far less organized and threatening Antifa as well as communism and socialism represent the far left. Now the MAGAturds needs to stop projecting this election-fraud charges onto the left when there are indictments related to MAGAturd meddling in the 2020 elections and Russian meddling in favor of Clownzo in the 2016 elections.

Well, I own Green Bay Packer stock, which makes me a part owner...so when I say "We", it's literally the truth. Now if you will excuse me, I have some last minute draft-prep that needs attending.

Thinking that asking someone to vote their conscience is the same thing as telling Congress that you actually won. You're a complete moron.

Why is your baseline assumption that the political party of the jury influences their decision? Isn't that against the whole jury system that has served the country well until Trump is involved, and now we have to make adjustments? The jury is sworn to put forth a verdict based on the evidence. Why do we have to change things up now?

Also a pretty sad boyband Beastie Boys sold over 50 million records worldwide NSYNC has sold over 70 million records worldwide New Kids on the Block sold over 80 million albums worldwide The Backstreet Boys have sold over 130 million albums worldwide Even the band Poison sold 65 million records world wide

False. A “boy band” is one where the boys are selected and put together by a producer, who basically controls everything about the band. Also their music is written by other people who are simply trying to appeal to the greatest number of people. In other words, there is nothing real or organic about them

Under 18, never. Period. Just like every other thing in this country. Over 18, do what you want... it's your body. As long as you don't force me to participate in your delusion. If any policy that is put forward that supports Under 18, then I don't care what else is in the policy, it gets 100% ignored and the answer is "No". Period. There will forever be pushback on this.

Please aware me boyo when the dems hatched a scheme to literally replace lawfully certified electors with fake electors. Fake electors who were flown to DC and who tried to replace lawfully certified electors simply because of cultist feelz. Aware me when that happened boyo. You can't because you've got nothing but stupid whataboutisms. It's like when you people say democrats called elections rigged too because there were a couple of times when democrats cried about elections and you have the audacity to try to make that equivalent to Trump and tons of his sycophants and cultist 3+ years of non-stop lying about the election being stolen. The two things aren't remotely comparable but you people try to do it anyway. Freaking LMFAO

Support among his cultist May grow stronger, regular people not at all. Note the polls moving in Biden’s favor the last few months. And are you telling me AZ residents want someone who tried to steal the election? Deplorables perhaps, but normal people? Not a chance. Sit back and watch the people vote against the guy who tried to steal the election boyo. Hell Trump can’t even get any cultists to show up in support for his current trial. Like most of your takes, this is dead wrong.

The judge's daughter is not simply involved in liberal causes, funding them is her business, it is her livelihood. Also the judge himself has written of his distaste for the defendant. You would not like to go to trial under those circumstances. You justify it bercasue in your mind, here, with Trump, an odious cahracter, you can, but you are abandoning fairness. You are estgablishing a precendent none of us would want to live with were it applied to us. As for moving the trial it is undoubtedly true that Trump's celebrity is broad and there is no place in the U.S. where the facts of the matter would be wholly unknown. Still, drawing from a jury pool where 9 out of 10 folks voted against him seems a skewed jury pool as an objective standard. Taking then the given that we as a country are extremely polarized and set in our opinions of candidates and politicians it it axiomatic that Trump did not have an impartial pool from which to proceed picking the jury.
