Most of the “RINO/establishment” Republicans are gone, retired, defeated. There will be true conservative types or Trump allies in almost all positions of power. And at the end of this don’t complain about not being able to do something, like cutting spending, balancing the budget, dealing with immigration, etc. etc. Because this is your opportunity. I get news where ever I can. I don't judge a story about where it comes from. I don't disbelieve a story which comes from the NY Times. I judge a story on the basis of the information it is built up. It makes no difference to me of it came from Breitbart, Alex Jones, MSNBC, James O'Keefe, New York Times, Viva Frei. I love independant journalists but they are limited on their resources available to them. Mainstream media has enormous resources and countless sources inside the federal government, but they are limited by constraints of having to stay within a certain narrative. All sources have the pros and cons and limitations. All of them provide information and misinformation. Even stories which include misinformation can have information which is true. You have to take all facts with a skeptical eye.

Every single swing state was within the margin of error. Most polls only had the candidates separated by 1 point, but the MOE is 3% either way. That's a range of 6%, Kamala's 48% poll numbers meant the range was 45-51% support. If you are surprised or unable to trust the news it's because you deceived yourself ,it wasn't the media.

Did a job for a 70 something retiree in deep blue mass yesterday. He spouted the same nonsense. I asked him why didn’t he do that last time and that our constitution prevents this. He went on about J6, they can change the constitution etc. I ask him how will they get to 2/3rds vote in Congress to amend the constitution? So you believe Trump is going to be so effective his first 2 years that everyone will overwhelmingly vote for Republicans in the mid terms and all of them will go along with this? He didn’t have an answer for that.

They gave me the impression that while this was a close election that was mainly due to the electoral college and that only about 46% of the public supported Trump. They told me that Ted Cruz had a reasonable chance of losing and that Dems might hold on to the Senate. They told me that Latinos were still solidly in Harris’s corner. I could go on and on and on. Last night when I was watching MSNBC Joy Reid said “we all knew it was fantasy that Ted Cruz might lose. And we all knew Georgia and North Carolina were high hurdles for Kamala.” Well I didn’t know those things. And if they knew then they lied to me. And yeah this morning I’m pissed off about it. For years I’ve defended these people here and elsewhere. And I meant it, I wasn’t arguing just for the sake of arguing.

I really hope that the next election provides us with much better candidates. This era of Trump and Biden as our best options has got to end.
