Kleenex's parent company, Kimberly-Clark Corp., is reportedly projecting record growth for the next 4 years. Time to buy!!

@TrailGuy You may want to get in on this. You've already gone through 10 cases of Kleenex in the past 2 days

No, the righties will rightfully say that Biden started the precedent of preemptively pardoning your family, your inner circle, your postal carrier, and anyone you may have come in contact with during your time in office. Besides, you may have noticed that lawfare was already used by the Left non-stop for the past 4+ years on Trump. He actually has a reason to pardon people. The Left, as is often the case, is afraid Trump might do what they've already done to him, so Biden pardoned everyone, and you Leftie simpletons blame Trump. Sad, really.

You’re correct that laws are what makes us a civilized society. You’re also correct that you can’t just pick and choose. But what if a law is truly immoral to you? William Lloyd Garrison, the famous abolitionist, was faced with this question following the Dred Scott decision and he answered it by setting fire to a copy of the Constitution, an act of civil disobedience. Such acts are part of our American heritage, dating back to the Boston Tea Party. And no I am not arguing that there are any existing current laws that are so immoral that they demand disobedience. But it could happen. Of course my Anne Frank analogy earlier was way over the top, deliberately so. Still, if somebody from ICE had reason to come to me and ask me to name people that I know who are undocumented, and where they currently live, I wouldn’t do it. Even under the threat of arrest I wouldn’t do it.

Seems some of my fears of a Trump presidency are coming true. Drilling may mean destroying pristine environments that will likely negatively affect wildlife. Profit can’t be more important than preventing toxic pollution and preserving nature, food chains and marine life. Yes, I don’t want the United States held hostage to expensive oil by other countries, but I also don’t want to turn our backs on renewable energy. I do agree with Trump that I don’t think the United States should be giving away so much money to other countries in an attempt to be more green, so perhaps pulling out of the Paris Agreement will save us money. I just don’t want our beautiful country destroyed by greed via drilling.

Here’s the net worth of the founders of the 3 companies involved in this Larry Ellison Oracle: 205 billion Masayoshi Son Softbank: 31 billion Sam Altman OpenAI: 1.1 billion The market cap of the 3 companies: Oracle: 483 billion + 10 billion in cash Softbank: 95 billion + 26 billion in cash OpenAI: A private company at this point, but value estimated at 157 billion + 8 billion in cash Why does the government (AKA taxpayers) have to provide a $100 billion initial investment (which could grow to $500 billion within the next 4 years) to build large-scale AI data centers in the United States ? No doubt it will create a number of good paying jobs, but the return on investment via taxes, might take centuries to actually produce a return for the country…………………………………………..a country that's already 35 trillion in debt, with another 70+ trillion in current & future unfunded liabilities relating to Medicare & Social Security https://www.inc.com/ben-sherry/project-stargate-massive-new-trump-era-investment-in-ai/91109890
