2 pointsAs I recall the matter the State of Texas, in defiance of the Feds, finally locked down their border stemming the flow. Then the Biden Administration, seeing the election slipping as California and some southwest swing states started getting the brunt from Texas and then, reluctantly, they tried to shut the border down doing what they had earlier stated was impossible, issuing an executive order which could have been issued at any time putting the lie to Biden's rhetoric. Then with the election won the south of the border flow dried up as they stopped coming knowing the open invitation Biden had extended for 3 + years was then gone. All we had to do to stem the tide was to stop inviting them. To stop the tide needed a lack of an invite and more vigilance on the border. Oh, and if you don't like the States I cited in my earlier example try sneaking into Isreal and see how that works out for you.Try sneaking into Australia or New Zealand or Iceland and get back to us. No country has an impenetrable border. That is not the reasonable argument or the reasonable goal and would only be argued by folks deliberately trying to miss the point. We can, though, have a relatively secure border backed up by cooperative local state and federal policing which keeps illegal immigration to a minimum. We can then get on with a more reasonable and beneficial legal immigration process which is thoughtful and controlled. Basically what you don't get is that most who want to stem illegal immigration are not racists or against immigrants, they are against lawbreaking and allowing the uneducated from the worlds most vicious ghettos to set our policy. We are against overwhelming the resources of local governments and the people who have a reasoanble expectancy of getting those resources having paid taxes and been citizens. We are against the chaos of the needs and expectancies of folks who like you have unreasonable expectancies based on a hundred and fifty year old aspirational poem which never really represented the sentiments of most Americans, just those like you who are utopians, which is to say idiots.

2 points"so maybe the stalker thing isnt nuts" Or did you forget you posted that? And "all the people complaining" have EVERY right to. And stop trying to divine my intentions - you're completely wrong.
-
2 pointsThis is not quite right. The Democrats tried to pass it but the Republicans killed it. Then Biden took him upon himself to secure the border by executive order. By the time Trump took office the border was already secure. But again these are temporary measures. What Biden did was a bandaid. The Senate bill, had it passed would have been a larger bandaid. What Trump is currently doing is an even larger bandaid with a lot of show for the MAGA crowd put in. But none of this is anything close to a permanent solution.

1 pointRight now, since conservatives have been in control and everything is going their way, stocks, gas prices, groceries and products in general should see a glimmer of doing well. In fact, absolutely everything is bad. Nothing is on the upswing. Nothing.

1 pointhttps://www.axios.com/2023/04/13/rent-inflation-highest-since-1981-but-signs-of-peak Great news for the USA, terrible news for Republicans. What are you guys going to run on now? You think transgender issues and CRT are going to win national elections?

1 pointDOGE just found out that Stacey "Gap Tooth" Abrams got $2 BILLION of OUR TAX $$$ for DEI to laundry into her election campaigns. Now that all of this fraud is exposed and ELON and TRUMP are stopping payments for this corruption....can Dodocrats ever win another election again? Dodocrats are the new Dodobirds. EXTINCT 2025

1 pointTrue story, did you know that Tim actually thought football helmets were made of metal until we had to tell them they weren’t? Yeah, he really thought that
-
1 pointReally like the 1st two Psy Furs albums. Each successive album became more polished and it just didn’t do it for me

1 pointI have no idea. I just know he's ruined intelligent discourse on multiple message boards and had a hand in getting one of them closed. I also know he specifically called the people on this bored worse names than Hitlery called Republicans and swore he would never set foot here, but here he is.......
-
1 pointAnd again, none of it based upon facts, data, or logic. Tim just says s*** and oftentimes it's factually incorrect which makes it looks even dumber.

1 pointThere is so much revisionist history in your post you should change your name to Tokyo Tim.

1 pointI never felt the pull to have kids. All my friends had them and it was fun to be the cool uncle. My brothers started having them and my view started to soften. By the time I was 38 I had found someone to settle down with and we had a son. I thought I knew what I was getting into. I had NO FOCKING clue how much he changed my life. He is THE best thing I have ever been a part of. Being a parent changed me in a profound way that you will never really understand without being a parent. It has been a challenge for sure. Parenting is flying by the seat of your pants and trying NOT to fock up you kid while also guarding to make sure others to not either. I have 2 sets of people who know me. The ones who knew me pre being a parent knew me as a couch surfing fockup that did not have a career. Just jobs. When my son was born something in me snapped and I KNEW I had to do better. BE better. People who know me NOW laugh at the idea of me EVER being a fockup. They literally do not believe me when I tell them. All they see is superdad. The guy who has a stay at home job and shows up to all his stuff. I grinded from 7 bucks an hour when he was born to 60 now just an average joe with a HS diploma. Worked for companies that everyone has heard of. All because of him.I would not change anything in the world. When you are trying That MOMENT when you look into your kids eyes you KNOW this is what you wanted and as an older parent I think you appreciate it more. I will mention that as an older parent it makes for super strange situations where as a 40 year old, you may be crossing paths with parents who cannot even buy beer yet. Or possibly drive

1 pointI've told you all a bunch of times. Tim doesn't base his opinion on any data or logic. He forms an opinion out of thin air and then looks for data to support it. It's the exact opposite way an intelligent, critical thinking, individual's brain works.

1 pointIt looks to me that even as you claim you don't support trannies in women's sports, you guys have never demonstrated any indication that it bothers you in the slightest. Further, whenever anyone suggests the competition is unfair and should be made illegal, you attack the messenger. For our part, this is electoral gold. Instead of letting sanity reign, changing the law, and putting this issue behind you for the good of female athletes, the country, and your own electoral hopes, the politicians you guys support obstruct it at every turn. So. we'll just keep ringing that bell over and over because elections are won with it. Meanwhile you can keep pretending to not be cheering on your tranny heroes and wishing we'd shut up about it.

1 pointYes we unlocked 1.6 billion to Iran for one but also we send humanitarian aid that’s taken by Hamas

1 pointThe democrats normalized political violence around 10 years ago. They feel it is acceptable.

1 pointI'm right, bruh. I don't see among Democrats any of the fiery hate and rhetoric that MAGA mooks have for anything to the left of themselves. This administration is an embarrassing disaster that's dismantling democracy.
-
1 pointMore projecting. Even Nancy Pelosi said that this country needs a strong Republican Party. I've seen nothing among Democrats to indicate that they'd want to see the Republican Party eradicated, but look no further than this forum to see the hate, intolerance and vitriol that MAGA has for anything to the left of themselves.

1 pointNot one of my better draft predictions but heck I'm happy at 24. Probably will go down once final results are in. Still it's a fun thing to do. Thanks to Mike and FFToday.
