A good argument could be made that the Pistons could have won 4 Championships in the 80s Lost to Boston in 87 4-3, Lost to the lakers in 88 4-3. Isiah getting hurt and phantom fouls. Even with 2 NBA championships, the 80's Pistons were better than most people realize.

Allow me to explain. Inflation was a big problem the past few years. It was a concern of everyone .It spiked really high and then it came all the way down. We can debate the cause but the policies resulted in the decline. We were around 2.5% leading up to election day. Now that Trump is president, after promising to eliminate inflation and slash prices, his policies have re-introduced inflation and the forecast is now looking at over 3%. When a president is directly increasingly inflation it should be talked about by everyone. Conversely for 4 years all we heard from the right was how bad inflation was and how Trump will fix it. Now he's doing the opposite and silence from the right. That is your insanity.

The 20 horse field is ridiculous. The greatest horse ever, on steroids, and from a good starting gate... could still easily lose. If they get boxed in, they can't jump over other horses. And they can't control the pace which happened in '22 when 80-1 Rich Strike won... the early pace was ridiculous and the top horses ran out of gas. Best you can do is make an educated guess and pray. God bless anyone gutsy enough to bet against the stat of 22 of last 25 winners (88%) racing in one of the major prep races. I can't.

Not a great plan but if they had time to plot strategy, perhaps split in half and try to each take a side to try and immobilize his arms. A few would perish in the effort. But if they can effectively "smother" and restrain movement enough have a few go in for the eyes to try and rip them out to blind him. That's their best path because if they can blind him they can just then attack in force without him being able to efficiently defend himself to the level he would start at.
