But Zelensky agreed to the proposal. Then Trump said only *he could accomplish the ceasefire. After a 2 hour phone call Trump claims that Putin has agreed to negotiations towards a ceasefire, instead of the ceasefire, which is where two parties cease firing while they negotiate. And whereas Trump had been threatening getting super cereal with Russia by increasing sanctions, he came off the phone call offering more glorious trade deals with a country whose economy is most comparable to Mexico’s. It’s like watching some old person re-up their subscription to a telemarketing scam on their landline. The amusing or hopeful thing is Ukraine’s accepting of the investment deal might keep the US supporting them & might further lead to Americans on the ground there.

His mom's Instagram page is still up but since I am not a member, I cannot poke around to see when she last posted there or who she follows or who follows her. Also the link to her website doesn't work, as I'd said previously. I found what looks like personal info like what I am pretty sure is his phone number and address but I felt like a creep/stalker and didn't pursue it. Its disturbing that I could get it with just his name, hometown and a general guess of his age, a little bit older than me. He's not registered anything that landed him in the news.

Other than a few, like Rand Paul for instance, I don't think either side cares, but I also think it has to be in the back of their minds. I'm not sure what would trigger it, reaching a certain $ amount, another world war, or something else ? I think they all know it will have to be addressed at some point, but as a group, they don't have the guts to do the right thing. I think their next move will be related to Social Security (notice I didn't refer to that as an entitlement) it really upsets me when people do. Medicare, maybe, but most people paid into SS for multiple decades, & if both sides of the aisle hadn't, borrowed and spent from it over the years, it wouldn't be the issue that it is today. Congress 1st focked over recipients in 1983. How were they able to do that ? Because like an article I once read stated, because the people it would affect were 12 years old at the time.
