1) YOU are the one doing the gaslighting and misinformation. When Kimmel lied, we already had the information that he was radicalized - by his own family, nonetheless - and he was living and dating a tranny. THAT is not "MAGA" or a conservative. 2) Kirk was high profile. High profile people and stories always suck all the oxygen out of the room. This is not new or a hot take. I'm not sure why you're trying to die on this hill. This doesn't mean the other stories aren't important - they are - but they were overshadowed by an even larger story. Again - this is not a new phenomena so not sure why you're making it out to be as if people don't care.
