I  Claire, evil Claire so awesome anyone who disagrees is both gay and a Lost hater.

Acting wise, meh, her and Kate are two of the weaker actors on a show full of great actors.

Dear LOST gods,

Let there be more Ben this week.

And if possible, include a torrid Kate-Sun lesbian scene.

Thanks,

Jvirne

 Add in Jungle Claire and bring a young Eloise from 1954 back from the past

This season's lack of the best character in the history of TV has been a disappointment, definitely need Ben to do something.

I miss the good ol days. Simple times with simple questions. Simple questions like who are the others? What is the smoke monster? Why do pregnant women die? Who are Adam and Eve? How did they get the food drops?.... Oh wait. It is 5 years later and none of this has been actually answered yet.

Welcome to the Sayid death episode.

Well, so much for the Jacob taking over Sayid's body theory.

So what questions got answered in this episode? I don't feel any clearer now than I did, except I know that Claire and Sayid are evil, Kate is dumb as a brick (already knew it) and Ben is a background player again (at last until next week).

Also, it seems like the people I thought were the most important characters are the only ones left standing.

Hurley, Jack, and the man on his way: Desmond.

Only I thought Locke would still be around. Never saw his death coming.

EDIT: I forgot all about Illana, Frank, and Sun. And perhaps Jin & Kate.

Still wondering why Jacob set in motion Dogan's death.

After all, he's the one who told Hurley to bring Sayid to the temple. So he saved Sayid knowing full well that Sayid would be "tainted."

He also knew that MIB would find a way into the temple.

Seems like Jacob is behind all his own people's demise.

Maybe it's like a little chess game and he needs to sacrifice a few pieces to set up his opponent.

It would be interesting if Lackman could figure out what Jacob's manipulations are causing. For instance, what did saving Sayid cause? It let the temple guys know that Jacob was dead. It sent everyone to the temple. Phillip and the guy from Always Sunny in Philadelphia die. Jin meets up with Claire. Then when we figure out what the fallout is, we can ask ourselves what Jacob was trying to accomplish.

I feel like if we see what the results of Jacobs meddling are we should be able to figure out the endgame, but I don't feel like reviewing everything.

now MIB is leading the others :dunno: quite the role reversal

i do give them credit...by this time, i thought we'd be walking into the final few shows with an obvious endgame in sight

i give up trying to guess anything

keeping us with setup episode after setup episode is serving its purpose....mainly :(

episode 7: Dr. Linus (Ben)

episode 8: Recon (back to Sawyer)

episode 9: Ab Aeterno (Richard...finally his story!)

You listen to the promos?

It's a tip the promos are from network guys in silk suits who, in their spare time, sit naked in their office and rub themselves all over with Jim Belushi DVDs.

Question: is it too obvious that Jack will become the next Jacob?

Answer: yes.

Question: what are we missing or overlooking?

Answer: the sideways narrative.

Question: what exactly is going on in the sideways narrative?

Answer: (broken down by characters) -

Kate - unselfish, helps Claire

Dogan - is with his son, proudly watching him perform

Jack - becomes the father his father never was to him.

Claire - is with Aaron in LA; it's strongly implied she keeps him.

Locke - is still with Helen, his love, and accepts his limitations.

Hurley - is "the luckiest man alive."

Sayid - protects Nadia and his brother and their children. Understands his own dark side, and sacrifices his desire for the betterment of Nadia (rightly or wrongly).

In sum, all the things haunting the characters in the Island Narrative are corrected in the Sideways Narrative. The Sideways Narrative really did "fix things" like Farraday said it would. Further, Juliet's dying words implied that the cause of the Sideways Narrative was the hydrogen bomb.

Question: What if the Sideways Narrative is the "real" timeline, and the Island Narrative the "what if" story?

Question: Regardless of "real" or "what if," why are the writers presenting two alternate, seemingly opposite stories?

Answer: They're linked somehow.

Question: How?

Answer: The most concrete answer is "the hydrogen bomb."

Question: Where did the hydrogen bomb explode?

Answer: the hatch, or The Swan.

Question: What is The Swan?

Answer: It's a location of immense electromagnetic energy. Meddling with it before caused Desmond to flash through time. It made him "special."

Question: Who's coming to the island?

Answer: I bet it's Desmond.

Question: Desmond has been off screen for a long time. All season, except once. Why?

Answer: Desmond's lone appearance this season was extremely odd. It appeared in the first Sideways Narrative. He sat next to Jack on the Oceanic flight, a plane he was never on. Both felt odd at experiencing each other's presence, perhaps because they met while running in LA years before, perhaps because they both felt something else. Then Desmond disappears. He never returns to his seat. We never see him get off the plane with everyone else. We never see him in LA. This has caused people to wonder if he was really there. I think he was and wasn't.

End Game Hypothesis: Desmond is the link between the two narratives. The detonation of The Swan created the two narratives just as it once sent his mind barreling through time. Perhaps it caused him to jump back and forth between times again. Desmond himself is confused by this. He may think he's jumping through time. However, I think eventually he will become a communique between both narratives. And Jack will find out how much better off Jack is in the Sideways Narrative. Hurley too.

Jack becoming Jacob is too easy and obvious of an ending. It's a red herring.

My "theory" is that somehow the characters break the cycle happening on the island. When I say "cycle," I mean the roles they all are assuming....Claire = the new Russo, Jack = the new Locke, etc. and end the island for good. They become the Sideways Narrative, or the Sideways Narrative is revealed as the "real" timeline.

It's tenuous, I know. But Jack = Jacob is just way too obvious and easy for this show. It can't end this way.

Had the freakiest Lost dream ever, and i didn't even watch it last night. Details are sketchy, but;

I was chilling in my old room in my house i grew up in and i was on a laptop, and Christian randomly shows up, preaching his usually "You have to ask the right questions" deal. Then out of no where, MIB showed up. It wasn't Locke. It wasn't a smoke monster. It was this pure black humanoid figure that was the creepiest thing i have ever seen, i think he was trying to kill me or something. I got really pissed off and i hear Christian's voice again, but i don't see him. I yelled "You don't know me!!" and he said something like "I know everything about you", i said "Then what is my middle name!!!!", he was like "Ummmm, ummmm" then he showed up and shrugged his shoulders. For some reason i e-mailed a bunch of people my middle name, and was like "Ha!! Now everyone knows something that you don't know!!" then for some reason i said something like "if you really know everything about me, then have a tornado come here!!". Sure enough, i hear the sirens go off, the sky gets dark, the house starts to shake and i bolt for my basement. Next thing i know i am back in my room, and 2 of my friends i knew in HS i have never seen or talked to in 3 years were there and got my e-mail. I said "Don't same my middle name!! you have no idea what we all know and have been through!!" They said it and started laughing. Then he said "There is a tornado warning for our county" i tried to get on my computer to track it(i am a meteorology major, so yeah) but i couldn't connect to the internet. Then i said something and woke up.

Moral of the dream...don't ever doubt the power of the island!!! If this episode has Christian in it, i might freak out.

right now I am thinking Desmond becomes the next Jacob and all the Losties are given new lives in the alt reality with their issues fixed that they had before in their lives. Desmond is the one that needs to find the Island.

The whole Syaid thing was planned by Jacob all along He knew the temple people would be killed or assimilated

not sure if I like the season or not yet but after a great opening the last few ep's have been a let down.

also the reason why the monster could enter was becasue Dogen died - he was the key to the ash working. As is Llana to the ash she collected.

Richard was NOT on the black rock he is roman and was given much the same deal I am thinking that Dogen was.

6 highly successful seasons says they are not out of their league all that much.

And Im sure the criticism of someone like edjr really hurts them.

Take a look at the "Lost Supper" picture.

Who is to Locke's immediate left? Sawyer, Kate, Sayid, Claire, Richard, and Ilana. Now it is hard to conceive Richard and Ilana going to "the dark side" but as it stands now the first 4 are technically correct. Jin is on the other side and even though Kate has not really declared a side so the speak it is interesting to see if it plays out like the picture in the end.

Random "Sundown" thoughts

Dogen should have taken out Sayid. Period. Odd time for a cold calculating leader to go soft.

MIB/Locke has no blood. The stab wound did not bleed and the dagger came out clean. Can he actually be killed? Did Sayid wait to long to stab him? What the fock is so important to a non human smoke monster that he needs to keep it with him in his backpack?

If the ash ring was keeping Locke out why not just have Claire kick it aside and clear a path for him? This is what I assume happened at the cabin.

I half expected Claire's eyes to roll back in her head and for her to start speaking in tongues when Kate told her she raised Aaron. Holy devil lady batman... Which leads me to my next observation.

They made sure to draw focus on Kate picking up that rifle. You know she is going to use it. Probably on Claire when she attacks. Is Kate going to foil MIB's plan and come out smelling like roses? Lackbear might stroke out if that happens.

Awesome seeing Keamy again. No one expected that. We should get to see more of him in Jin's flash sideways.

It has been far to long since smokey did one of his famous tree uprootings.

I'm starting to think there isn't necessarily going to be any replacement for Jacob. To me this whole thing is shaping up as a conflict between good and evil. To end the story don't you have to end the conflict? I think one side is supposed to win. I guess the other solution is that they get back to a stalemate mode where there is the equilibrium, but that can be accomplished by killing Locke.

'Lost' to air episode without series regulars

http://www.digitalspy.com/cult/s10/lost/ne...s-regulars.html

An upcoming episode of Lost will not feature any series regulars, Michael Emerson has confirmed.

Emerson - Benjamin Linus on the cult series - described episode 15 as "kooky" and "unprecedented" during an interview with E! Online.

"It's unusual - it's unprecedented. They're pushing the envelope with this one," he explained. "It's set in a time and a place that you will never have seen on a network series before, I would venture to say."

He added: "When was the last time you saw a network drama episode where none of the series regulars were in the episode? That's how kooky it is!"

Emerson also dispelled rumors that his alter ego will be killed off in coming episodes, saying that "Ben continues, as far as I'm concerned!"

BEST.EPISODE.EVER.

Are you guys kidding me? This episode kicked some much ass i was shaking by the end. Sayiid is evil, Claire is evil and just nuts and really hot. We saw 3 of the best action scenes ever. Sayiid vs. Dogen. Smoke Monster annihilating everyone. Sayiid vs. Kreamy crew, but that was much more of an ownage than anything. Ben was so freaked out by Sayiid his eyes damn near popped out of his head.

Whoa.........such a good episode.

Wow, i am starting to dislike anti-lost people. One of my closer chick friends told me the show was dumb; i said that it is definitely anything but dumb, and that it takes a certain amount of intellect to really understand the show. She basically said people who watch lost(which, of course, includes me) are people who sit around with nothing to do and who don't like to think. I pretty much blew up and complete owned here in public(FB of course). I mean, it's cool if you watch the show like edjr and have lower opinions of it, but i hate people who have never even watched the focker who say it's dumb or something, but that would be even cool if she didn't insult me and other viewers of the show out of ignorance. Anyone else have similar encounters?

Before I watched Lost, I would bend chicks over a couch and have my way. They thought it was so hot. Now I can't bend them over anything since I have to study the internet to figure out the focking clues the writers leave me, and girls won't talk to me.

That's why you bag one that is obsessed with Lost :ninja: I tried this...but she was like Claire recently, just freakin crazy. In my experience, all chicks who like lost are mentally unstable. Which is cool if you are into that type of thing.
