IMMensaMind 460 Posted December 1, 2010 1-AP 2-Marshall 3-Shonn greene 4-Finley! Bad draft/luck. I am 4-7-1 1) Aaron Rodgers 2) Ryan Mathews 3) Calvin Johnson 4) Jahvid Best I'm 9-3, but dying slowly: I've been in 1st place the entire year, but the field has slowly caught me, as I have last pick on waivers always, and had too many injuries (Nicks, Mathews, Best, Torain, Britt and now JVAX) and unfortunate timing on pickups (picked up Blount too early, and dropped when he did nothing; skipped on Hillis. Picking up Tamme and trading Vernon for Felix Jones to give me help in the RB department has my pulse at least still going...this is a critical week for me. FeelingMN 273 Posted December 1, 2010 Ten Teamer #1: 8-4, second in total points Gore Moss Jennings Charles Ten Teamer #2: 8-4, first in overall points Rice Megatron Schaub Pierre I did draft Foster and Maclin in both leagues, and was able to pick up Vick in #1. I've hit almost every week with my defenses in #2....cheap, easy points that definitely help.
GridironGuzzlers 3 Posted December 1, 2010 your 1st 4 picks sounds important but it is just a small piece of the puzzle. Good teams are made in the middle rounds and off the WW too. In my 14 team league I went: Gore R.Moss S.Smith(car) Moreno Bowe Bradshaw Kolb Also have Gonzo and Pitt D. I had 2 busts @ 2&3 (and 7) but picked up Vick after week1 and I'm 8-4, 3rd in points, clinched a playoff spot
mzf5c5 0 Posted December 1, 2010 M Turner - Keeper S Green - 1st A Foster - 2nd G Jennings - 3rd I am 6-6, but I have the highest total points on the season! It sucks, it really does! I should have taken Mendy instead of Green, but Pitts not having Big Ben pushed me to Green...If I had Mendy, I would still be leading in points, but most likely would be first in my league. We Tigers 71 Posted December 1, 2010 In my 14 team keeper, I kept Moss, Steven Jackson, and Schaub, and took Foster with my 4th round pick. In the 16 team redraft, I went Moss, Benson, Charles, and Nicks. Despite the best efforts of Randy Moss to ruin my life, I'm 9-3 and in 2nd place in both leagues. Killed the later rounds, though; particular love goes out to my boys Mike and Josh in Tampa. This is the first time my late round picks and waiver wire guys have really made a big, big difference. parrot 789 Posted December 1, 2010 ???? damn you must have had a great draft! And my fifth pick was Portis. It's funny, the two guys I was really targetting were Foster and Bradshaw, and I missed out on both of them, so coming out of the draft I didn't feel that great about it. Guys like Orton, Bowe, McFadden, Tampa Mike, and Holmes have really helped though. Also Had a fair amount of luck on the WW with Green-Ellis, Branch, and Tamme. MDC 6,001 Posted December 1, 2010 14-team redraft: 1. MJD 2. DeAngelo 3. Roddy White 4. Gates 9-3, ranked 2 of 14, 2nd in total points. My 2nd round draft pick and the fact that I've been ranked high and near the end on waivers has kept me from building a monster.
The Next Generation 10 Posted December 1, 2010 14 team league, 1 player keeper: Keeper - CJ2K 1st - Megatron 2nd - R White 3rd - CJ Spiller I must explain that a RB that catches a TD gets double pts, so I thought Spiller would be golden...anyway.... Record = 8-3-1, 2nd place in division and pts. Can get 1st place in division and BYE with a win this week (50/50) and a 1st place team loss (likely). 30 pts back in pts which is our highest payout and ends week #
Sho Nuff 720 Posted December 1, 2010 10 team standard scoring redraft... 1. Ray Rice 2. Randy Moss 3. Jamal Charles 4. Jahvid Best Im 6-6. Win this week and I am in the playoffs...even a loss is fine if the one team behind me that could tie me would have to score a crap ton to get in front of me. edjr 5,762 Posted December 1, 2010 I had to include the top 5 or it wouldn't have done it justice. Turner Mathews Welker Colston Best (traded for Rivers week before week 3) 5 and 7 (small chance at playoffs) Gore Marshall S. Smith D. Clark Forte 4 and 8 Manning White Foster Spiller Forte 9 and 2 best record in the league
Chronic Husker 85 Posted December 1, 2010 2nd pick. 12 team ppr AP Megatron DJax Steve Smith Carolina Was high on Michael Bush and took him end of round 5. Got lucky to get his handcuff in 7 and got Santonio Holmes way late. Drafted Kolb as my #1 QB and Celek as my TE. Flacco has saved me but I've struggled at TE all year. Right after my draft I thought Smith was my best pick. My later picks have really saved my team. 7-
Ryedog 0 Posted December 1, 2010 1) Ryan Mathews 2) Calvin Johnson 3) Roddy White 4) J. Charles 6-6 BTW, I hit gold with the WW throughout the year with the likes of Vick, Tamme, and Tolbert.
packerfan 0 Posted December 1, 2010 1 - Ray Rice 2 - Ryan Mathews 3 - Greg Jennings 4 - Jahvid Best 10-2, already clinched a first round bye. Picked up Antonio Gates and Dwayne Bowe in the 5th and 6th, Eli Manning and Tampa Mike Williams very late, and added Tolbert through waivers. I remember I had two guys on my draft list for the 4th round, Arian Foster and Jahvid Best. Arian went the pick before me so I grabbed Best. I'm not in a bad place, but oh what coulda been. idiotec 31 Posted December 1, 2010 Gore Grant Jennings Romo 7-5. I play the second place (8-4) team this week and have more points than him, so if I win this week I get second place (piece of pie) and a 1st round bye. It has been a bit of an accomplishment getting this far after being decimated so badly. Of course week 1 I lose my 2nd Rd pick. I have Bradshaw to plug in for him. I then lose Romo, OK I drafted Ryan as a backup, plop him in and he has performed OK. Now Gore goes down, my rock. I have Freddy Jackson ready to roll. The playoffs will be tough sledding but we'll see.
