They will probably place you on Neurontin for your pain. If it helps, great, but know that there are alternative medicines that work better for some. BunnysBastatrds 2,701 Posted October 10, 2012 A golfing friend of mine lost his leg just below the knee after a truck ran him off the road into a sugar cane field when he was on a motorcycle and they left him for dead. The doctors said he was lucky to be alive and not in a vegatative state considering the accident. He's doing great now and and has a completely different outlook on everything about life.
