Say what you want from your couches. He made the play when they had to have it

Pretty sure no one here has talked sh*t about his playing.

Dude that was the first time in media history an nfl player actually spoke his mind. All time best interview ever. Instant classic soundbyte like playoffs or let em off the hook. All time best.

That was a GREAT play, and Crabtree may have even got away with a push. What a shame. What a waste of greatness.

You kidding? I knew I would be rooting for Manning before this war even started.

Few random thoughts:

This was among the worst reffed and most lopsided called football games I have ever seen. I counted four utterly horrible calls on SF and it would've been a 5th if the refs didn't give them an obvious grounding call on Wilson they had to practically beg for. I see bad calls every week but its rate to see so many with all of them going against one team.

Harbaugh has got to be the least professional coach in football, even worse than Rex Ryan. His "Look at meeeeee!!!!" act is so tired and Mickey Mouse, get over yourself. You make that skipping fairy Carroll look classy.

Richard Sherman is a punk ass hole and I hope he gets torched over and over in the Super Bowl.

Nice take. The roughing the kicker non call was criminal.

Time for 2 weeks of over-analysis and non-story stories. wake me up in two weeks please, with enough time for a beer or two before kickoff.

What did Shermann say at the end of that interview? LOB? LOV? What did he mean? :dunno:

LOB, Legion of Boom!

Interesting, I hadn't heard that. And I'm an NFC West (Cardinals) fan. They need to market that better. :dunno:

And so did guy who caught it. Gotta wonder why Sherman needed any help there in endzone. Think Revis in his prime would have had that or Bailey or Deon

Aikman said Sherman was out of position and he was. Just fortunate he's tall with long arms. Still a good play. He made himself look pathetic post game the way he taunted Crabtree and then spoke to the world.

A little more controlled with the FOX crew. I think Howie was ready to b*tch slap him. I know Strahan wanted to.

God I hate Richard Sherman.

Will be rooting for the Seahawks though, as I live in the Pac NW and can't stand the Broncos.

Also I have the warm and fuzzies for Pete Carroll.

General thoughts

- Seattle was the better team, but made some silly mistakes, too many

- The ref's blew way too many calls, negatively impacting the competition, they should be punished

- Sherman is a complete dumbfock, needs to STFU and start behaving like a professional, not a 12 year old

Yeah, he runs over and acts like a complete arsehole, then looks at the ref like a little b!tch when Crabtree swats him away, what a waste of space

He was trying to shake his hand in a show of good sportsmanship :dunno:

If I wasn't rooting for Denver before, Sherman guaranteed that I will be now. What an arsehole.

I'd rather see a guy who goes against today's loud-mouthed grain by showing humility and class. I still think there's room in today's NFL for it. Walter Payton was a bad-ass on the field, but was called Sweetness off it for a reason. Marcus Allen had the meanest stiff-arm of any RB, and was a big time money player known for his diving touchdowns, yet simply tossed the game ball to the refs after he scored. It's the quiet guys who go about their business that get the most respect. Same with Barry Sanders. Case in point, if anyone deserved to beat his chest after tonight's game it was Marshawn Freaking Lynch. But you hardly ever hear a peep from the guy. He does his talking on the field.

SNL needs to spoof that Sherman vs Andrews interview starring Jay Pharoah as Sherman.

and thats fine you feel that way but not everyone has to be mutes or choirboys in interviews. i think this was a good business decision by him. dude is already a top 3 corner in the league and now he will be talked about for years for 1 outburst.

"Today's loud mouth grain" seems like mostly coached answers and coach speak. Even my own favorite team's QB fits into that category. I think it's pretty refreshing to see someone speak so honestly. I don't want to see interviews turn into WWE style but Sherman is pretty entertaining. I might not think that way if I was a Niner fan though.

Two things I will be rooting for hard in two weeks: Manning to methodically pick apart the PED backfield of Seattle, and Richard Sherman's ACL to snap like a dry-rotted rubber band.

He's going to eventually feel the heat when his game goes south. Michael Jordan once said that Dennis Rodman's act would last only while he was grabbing rebounds and locking up defensively. After that it just became boorish. You reap what you sow in life. When he's washed up, or injured, Sherman will have his millions but zero respect. Again, I still feel there is room in the NFL for humility and grace. Especially in such a violent sport. I remember an interview once, where a hockey player was asked why more players don't talk smack on the ice...

"We carry sticks."
