++ UPDATE: 4-Game Suspension Upheld - 11 of 12 footballs NE used were deflated 2psi!

I'm sorry but I'm done talking please leave. At this point you're trolling and I refuse to be a part of it. Good luck with your team next year if they even manage to make playoffs. Meanwhile I'll be enjoying the Super Bowl pulling for my team that made it while whiny criers like you sit there pissed still looking for a different way you can spin http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/super-bowl-xlix/deflate-gate-more-americans-think-patriots-cheated-poll-finds-n295236the story to suit your need for them to have cheated to make their way to the top

50% of nfl fans believe you are cheaters. 28% are on your side. HTH put things in perspective on who is spinning here.

I'm good with this completely - except for one thing.

You were willing to call Aaron Rodgers a cheater under the exact same scenario.

Hypocrisy, thy name is Patriots Fan. :first:

I actually questioned if it made Aaron a cheater.

To which guys like you deflected.

Aaron bolsteres my argument, weakens yours and also exposed your hypocrisy.

A team submitting balls over inflated and a team submitting balls that are under inflated is the same damn thing. The refs dont check the PSI in every ball. If they get the stamp of approval good, if the refs remove or add air then fine no big deal. All the horse sh!t about the under deflated balls giving the Patriots an advantage is just that HORSE SH!T. Brady likes the feel of the ball one way and Rogers likes the ball another way. Brady does not like the ball that way because its easier for his receivers to catch. He likes the feel of it that way.

The Refs approving the balls is the exact same thing as umpires in college baseball examining the bats before the game and approving them.

OIC. Easy to make a mistake interpreting what you were trying to say. Ya know: like you never really believed that Aaron was a cheater, and you were "questioning" whether he was because...well...you're an inquiring mind, with the unvarnished truth as your goal.

Yes, that's it now. I see it clearly.

To which guys like you deflected.

A man in your position does see truth as deflection, yes.

Aaron bolsteres my argument, weakens yours and also exposed your hypocrisy.

In whacky NE-land, that is possible. Even the "bolsteres" part.

You obviously cannot rationalize yourself out of a position you have not rationalized yourself into with which to begin; of that you are absolute validated proof.

Yes the analogy was that people were saying Rodgers wasn't a cheater cause he submitted those footballs for inspection and didn't do anything afterwards. Whereas they call patriots cheaters cause they supposedly tampered with the balls after inspection. Now that the same situation Rodgers had it's all of a sudden a mute point and somehow patriots are still labeled as cheaters. THAT my friend is the meaning if hypocrisy

First, let me help you on spelling. It's MOOT, not MUTE. Also: I'm not at all convinced that it is "the same situation"; doesn't sound like the facts are consistent (and I don't doubt at all that NE is behind obfuscating the facts to again mask their actions).

Patriots fans who immediately reached to associate others - others with impeccable reputations like Rodgers - with their sort of sordid activity, are intellectually dishonest. These sordid types didn't document anything Rodgers did at all. They quickly and willfully slung mud so that their soiled condition didn't stand in stark contrast.

It really didn't matter to them the facts; they simply wanted to coat everything in mud to camouflage their own stains.

You'll also note that a couple of Patriots fans have already said that if "the refs didn't check the balls, or make changes, then that's on them, and it's not cheating".

Well. Seems like Patriots fans are certainly easy to swing whichever way is expedient to deflect attention. Get your story straight, Patriot fans. If it's not cheating because the refs "didn't check", then leave players and programs with integrity out of it, instead of attempting to illegitimately associating them with your misery.

Don't worry. NE Karma has a price.

I'll ignore your infantile insult, since it's obvious that I'm nothing near a dumbass.

But I would like to understand what exactly you think I missed about Aaron Rodgers - particularly since it was brought up by drobeski as another example of cheating, because Rodgers apparently submitted balls for ref review that were "pushing inflation limits".

Please tell us what point I missed.

News reporter shows that 12 footballs can be softened in just 40 seconds

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/deflategate-update-soften-12-balls-40-seconds-article-1.2094280

:D

Speed deflation? You think the locker room attendant had been practicing that all week just for that moment? He also able to take the balls out of the bag one by one, deflate them, then put them all back in the bag within 90 seconds? Erroneous

This guy did it but no way anyone on the Pats could do it, you are right.

Ballboy hasn't been practicing all week, he has been practicing all year. At least since November when the first report of deflation came about

I guess you've dropped your sermons preaching the evils of generalizing these days?

I'm one of those couple. And yes, if the refs didn't check the balls, that's on them. And if turns out that that is the case, but people still want to accuse the Patriots of cheating by offering non-spec balls to the officials, then yes, they damn well better impugn Rodgers and the Packers for the same "cheating". If they don't, then they are hypocrites. What's good for the GOAT, is good for the Packer.

But rogers quoted words were "over" check it out that word is in the dictionary it has a very distinct meaning.

And the other quoted words of impeccable Aaron were "if the refs check them"

The word "if" is also in the dictionary check it out.

Now if the patriots adjusted the balls prior to submitting them to their liking irrelevant of psi even, and the refs did not actually check the psi until half time, then the patriots are guilty of the same thing as rogers.

Which is nothing.

Now if its found the pats did tamper with the balls after a psi check by the refs, then they are guilty as fock and should be punished accordingly.

Pretty cut and dry, the situations are similar and its only common sense to compare them.

I didn't make up the link.

Get it ? If the pats are guilty they are guilty. But if they are following the same procedure as every focking other qb including rogers they aren't.

You're claiming that your phone autocorrected 'moot' to 'mute'?

Yeah. Not buying it, but because I really want to believe you, I just typed 'moot' on both my Note 3 and my daughter's iPhone6.

Nope. Not buying it at all. The mute/moot thing is a common error - and it isn't an autocorrect error...and if we cannot buy your integrity on something as simple as that, why would any of us be surprised that you're a Patriots fan defending their lack of integrity?

I know I'm not. :dunno:

As for 'admitting when wrong', I'm not sure where you're claiming I'm wrong. My reactions have been to what has been posted and written. Are you projecting as well as bsing?

Yep. I accept all those possibilities. I'm not saying anything to counter any of that. The overarching point is that he at least submitted balls for ref review.

'If'. I have not to this point operated under that presumption, because I posted when the presumption - as reported - was different. Has their been spaghetti thrown against the wall; spaghetti which asserts that 'if', and gives Patriots fans legs?

Sure.

Am I convinced that is what happened?

Not sure. But you are certainly desperate to see that claim validated.

Now if its found the pats did tamper with the balls after a psi check by the refs, then they are guilty as fock and should be punished accordingly.

Yep - and that's all that I've been saying, while you have been attempting to draw invalid comparisons. You and other NE fans have been claiming, however, that "everyone does it" because you're looking to limit damage/deflect attention/limit any punishment/etc.

Pretty cut and dry, the situations are similar and its only common sense to compare them.

We know that Rodgers didn't tamper with footballs after a ref review. We do not know that NE did the same. These are not comparable.

I didn't make up the link.

No one said you did. What I've said is that you've fabricated the comparison to Rodgers.

the damage is limited if the pats did not tamper with the balls in fact the pats were damaged illegitimately if that's the case.

The deflating itself is nothing, the difference of 1mm and actually has a negative impact for a qb.

Now if they lied and are bagged that's different, but I have faith a class act legendary qb like Brady, a genius of a coach and an incredible owner like kraft would not stake their incredible legacy on a lie. But that's just me, an honsest and bias pats fan.

Sorry I just don't see these guys doing it. Especially Kraft, these guys are far from dummies and know what's at stake.

My belief is the refs didn't check them like they are supposed to and the pats submitted them as they always do and left them at that.

There are way too many players in the hate brigade to rule out false allegations and the refs have their own asses to cover.

We'll see how the investigation shakes out.

Tell me ..if its found out these were false allegations made by a bitter organization aka the ravens or the jets, should they be punished ?

Again I'm bias of course...in the end someone has egg on their face ..the pats and their fans or the NFL, the officials, the rat fock coach/team behind it and the haters.

There's no use trying to reason with people that will hate on them no matter. You can act rationally and try to talk civil but their first words will still be cheater. Even if NE comes up clean they will still try to say they cheated. Might as well just start ignoring them if they have nothing to bring to the discussion besides calling NE cheaters still. I'll always admit when I'm wrong if proven so. Yet they can't admit it

Rationally?

Believing everything the Pats have said is not acting rationally.

It's pretty sad that grown men are here defending obvious cheating by downplaying it or coming up with ridiculous excuses. I wonder if they conduct their private lives the same way.

Calling a spade a spade or in this case a cheat a cheat doesn't make you any less of a man. In fact, it sustains your integrity and your moral code. If you are so bereft of integrity that your moral compass is spinning aimlessly, you should really reevaluate your priorities in life.

And by the way this whole investigation has been one major f*** up. The whole due process of it is ridiculous. Now they are consulting with a physicist to see if the balls would deflate. They have yet to really interview tom Brady. Shouldn't he be one of the first people you interview? The guy actually handling the footballs during the game? Same with the locker room attendant who carried them from the locker room to the field. The person in charge of this investigation should be fired for incompetence.
