Moon Landing - Donald Trump WILL be our next President

Recommended Posts

Funny how the left, the media, blacks, women, Hispanics, Muslims, centrists, and about 60% of republicans are downgrading Trump. To much.

Fixed.

This general election will be a b!tchslapping.

I freely admit that at first i kinda enjoyed it all. The media squirming, the political establishment stomping their feet the holding their breath...ALL of the crying and moaning, just very gratifying.

That was enjoyed with some expectation that this would have all ended some time ago, and that reason would eventually prevail.

What I am left with is this notion that there are many people out there who are allowing emotion to dictate where logic should prevail. The Trump movement is really no better than BLM, or the KKK, or any other group based on illogical and a sick mentality.

I disagree, but I won't get into why I believe that. It's futile to go there.

However, I hope you're prepared for at least 4 years of Trump, because it's going to happen.

You couldn't squeeze a Nazi reference in there?

Latest hypothetical general poles from realclearpolitics.com:

Clinton 49

Trump 39.2

Clinton 46.8

Cruz 45.8

Clinton 42.8

Kasich 48

Sanders 54.8

Trump 37.8

Sanders 49.3

Cruz 41

Sanders 45.7

Kasich 43.3

Depending on how much stock you put in this, both parties are backing the wrong candidates.

I do not think such a reference would have been valid, its a bit odd to introduce that topic into the context of what I posted.

Valid. But being smart alone is not god enough, IMHO. That intelligence must be tempered.

He really isn't.

He's a billionaire business owner who is running for president and you are at your dead end job sitting at your computer passing the time and typing that he isn't smart. Fawking rich.

Trump is smarter than most everyone else.

I tend to doubt this, but we'd need a definition of smart. He is obviously intelligent and shrewd in a certain sense.

But he certainly doesn't sound very smart. He makes W sound like freaking Churchill.

My dad didn't loan me several million.

I didn't say he isn't smart, I said he isn't smarter than everyone else (which is what was claimed).

Real estate and creating his brand and getting the rubes all lathered up to follow him...he is smart.

Foreign affairs and much of what it takes to be President ..he is a focking idiot.

How many NFL players received millions when they were young and how many of them built it into billions? It helps to have money, but having money without being smart will get you nowhere....

The guy is smart, sometimes he is "evil smart" and that is what really bothers me...

Trump was an amusing side show, but the powers that be are going to replace him with Kasich in a brokered convention. Then the real siht show will begin.

And you're the genius we need as POTUS. Got it.

Either way, get used to it, because it's happening.

the Clinton machine will have him killed before they let that happen, just like the hundreds of others who tried to get in their way.

I will admit, there's a part of me that's truly concerned he's got some mastermind plot that nobody could ever see coming.

Then again, that's what Congress and the Judicial Branch are for.

I'm on the official wagon of "I'd like Trump for a year, and then I'd like to review and possibly revoke if possible" crowd.

Clinton needs to make sure she doesn't go to prison.

Which BTW, brings up a great question. If elected as POTUS, could Clinton pardon herself?

You keep using that word, I don't think it means what you think it means.

Again, not what I said or what was said. Someone said he was smarter than everyone...that is clearly not the case for anyone who has listened to him speak on any number of actual issues that President has to deal with.

He is very smart in making deals and getting uninformed rubes to follow him like a cult leader.

I'm pretty sure Obummer is going to pardon her before he leaves office.

Wouldn't she have to be charged with and found guilty of a crime first?

Any body that digs around in this thread can see I am the farthest thing from a Trump supporter. I do however, want to acknowledge that I watched his speech to the Jewish group this weekend and thought he did remarkably well. I figured Jews as being a very tough crowd for him. He used a teleprompter (I hear) and had professional help crafting a speech. He told the Jews he would bring the American Embassy to Jerusalem among other things. He was completely covered up with cheers the whole speech. He aced using the teleprompter and the CNN commentators looked stunned when he finished.

Now, with the Brussels attacks, we have Trump doubling down on what he has already said about not letting Muslims into the U.S.. He also said they would have gotten information out of the terrorist they caught sooner if they had tortured him. I don't expect he will apologizing for that statement.

He did nothing but help himself with the Jewish group and probably has a lot of people saying "maybe he is right" about the Muslims. The only candidate on either side with all the momentum just got faster.

Wait until it comes out that folks can travel from Belgium basically without a visa and are only getting some halfassed lax security check and that they have known about this and done nothing to change it.

Before you praise him too much, realize the group he spoke to was not happy with some of his comments.

And I doubt they will fall for much of his bs as he pandered to them.

You are speaking of the leadership. I am speaking of the people at the event.

The Republican Party leadership doesn't like him either. How are they doing?

Apparently Trump tweeted some sort of "threat" to 'spill the beans' about Ted Cruz's wife tonight. Then he tried to delete it.

What is this, Junior High?

Sheesh.

Like I always say, if you look hard enough on the internet, you could find a Muslim that loves BLT's.

But it doesn't really mean much.

But by all means.....please proceed.

I am very happy a Canidate for the highest office in the land was able to make a speech with a teleprompter and not totally bomb.

Really high standards there. Way to set the bar.

I saw Kasich give his reading off of paper. Is there a big difference?

Sure...they ate up some of his prepared speech...even it was filled with the usual rhetoric from what I read of it.

Nothing. But people arent praising Kasich for actually being able to simply give a speech. It's sort of expected to be able to do that.

They cheered ALL the speakers. Trump, Kasich, Ryan all of them because they gave pro Isreal speeches.

But because Trump "aced using a teleprompter" he gets extra credit since it was......actually a surprise. Think about that for one second. Let it sink in.

I hope you don't think I am please. The CNN commentators seemed impressed, and he will be doing more of the same going forward. Getting his speeches written by real political brains and looking far more presidential.

There will be plenty of youtube footage of George W. doing worse. Obama, not so much.

Lyin' Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad. Be careful, Lyin' Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!

It WAS the typical rhetoric too. The biggest thing I hate about politics is the pandering.
