mobb_deep 920 Posted March 10, 2016 I've always respected BLS as one of the more informed posters on the bored (not that he cares). He's also a guy I believe to be a good example of responsible gun ownership. I have a lot of friends who are very pro-gun, and 75% of them make me nervous to be around when we're out shooting on a camping trip or whatever. They would benefit from a few of his classes. That being said, I'd like to know if BLS actually wants trump to win, or just thinks he will win? Trump has proven over and over again to flip flop on all sorts of issues, including gun control. He's not exactly a good example of a strong conservative leader (If anything I'd guess he really leans slightly left). I'd assume BLS would be more for someone like Rand (obviously a non-factor now) or Cruz? Do you plan on voting for Trump in the primaries?

BLS 314 Posted March 10, 2016 And what was your takeaway? It's pretty obvious. Don't you think? This whole thing has derailed because the minions here will jump on anything they can. My entire point was John McCain was a loser from a POLITICAL stance. I'm not trying to disrespect the man. I'd assume BLS would be more for someone like Rand (obviously a non-factor now) or Cruz? Do you plan on voting for Trump in the primaries? I would honestly much prefer Rand Paul over anybody (aside from Ron Paul). Trump is a child. He threatens people when he doesn't get his way, and he can do this because he's powerful. I'll agree this is a recipe for problems. What I like about him is he's willing to PUBLICLY say things I think need to be said. We have an immigration problem. There's far too much Political Correctness going on, and it's now deeply into legislation; which IMO is the antithesis of what this country is about. Freedom of Expression/Speech. We are losing jobs to other countries and they screw us in return. I agree with this. I know Ted Cruz is the Tea Party favorite. I know many RP supporters LIKED him, but don't much anymore. His true colors are seemingly coming through during this election. He'll say and do anything to win. Which I just can't get behind. Rubio is an example of what's wrong with Republican party, and Kasich seems like he'd start a war, just to start a war. Trump doesn't seem Presidential; if there's really a way for that to happen. But I'd rather have him than any of the other available candidates; even if just because what he's saying needs to be brought forward. So do I want him to win? Not really. But if I have to choose, yes, I'll vote for the cocksucker just so we don't have to have another GD politician promising us change and delivering slavery.

Trump's plan to deport 12 million people and make Mexico pay for a wall is asinine pandering. Surely you realize this. Of all the problems we face, political correctness is surely near the bottom of the list, isn't it? Political correctness?! Do you really feel your right to be crude in how you express yourself is that important? Jeebus. Everyone knows we are losing jobs and getting screwed. Everyone agrees with it. Trump (or anyone else) cannot solve this until our culture values and teaches craft, and until people realize that getting everything for $7 cheaper at walmart is less important than having a national identity as makers and innovators. What do you think of when you hear the word German? German ingenuity. German craftsmanship. What do you think about when you hear American? Nation building? Credit default swaps? You DID call McCain a loser: You underestimate Republicans. They'll vote for shitstain McCain over Obama. Even though they know McCain is a total loser. Your later assertion that you were only referring to him as a loser because he lost the election rings hollow since at the time the Republicans voted for him he hadn't lost yet, but had won numerous elections for congress. Also, when you call a person "a total loser" you're clearly not referring to them losing an election. Quit trying to backtrack. The comments above are extremely disrespectful and you deserve any criticism you get over them. You should just apologize and admit you are wrong here. BLS 314 Posted March 11, 2016 I always thought I ran him out of the league, not one of my proudest moments either. Meh. Not really. The honest truth is I've gotten tired of fantasy, and my heart just wasn't in it anymore. I wasn't trying much and it's better for the league that someone else more competitive takes over. So, IF you're worried about it, don't be.
Voltaire 5,317 Posted March 11, 2016 I don't understand what you base this on, but he's a ###### and an immature self absorbed bully, so I really don't think it's possible. The whole premise is absurd in factThe best thing I like is the wrecking ball aspects as it comes to K Street lobbyists and the various reforms he could implement. On foreign policy, Hillary is an interventionist eager to solve every global problem going on whereas neither I nor Trump give a Shiite about Turd World Islamic civil wars. Culturally, Trump is the perfect vehicle to tell Black Lives Matter protestors exactly, pitch perfectly, and in no uncertain terms how I feel about them, cops, Affirmative Craption and their other incessant whining over fake non-infractions. Economically, I'm a fan of free trade... with advanced counties. The effects of free trade with China and Mexico and other countries that pay worker ten cents an hour is readily apparent all over SE Michigan where I grew up. Trump speaks to those concerns, Hillary doesn't. So pardon me for not jumping on the anti-Trump bandwagon like we're all supposed to. Trump is the Pied Piper of white trash and white trashiness is exuded from every pore in my body. Go find some non-white trash MFers to stop Trump. I'm not carrying water for falsely aggrieved minorities, for an interventionist on foreign policy, or someone who likes passing out government candy. Fock Hillary. I see the warts on Trump and am still willing to take the chance. So what if he's an arrogant windbag vacuous jerk? I've more in common ideologically with him than her and I welcome the wrecking ball.
GobbleDog 997 Posted March 11, 2016 No Obama - no Trump It's natural for the country to go from 8 years of one party to the other. Historically, that's the norm. Obama is also perceived (right or wrong) as a relatively weak persona, with Trump the exact opposite. The "grass is greener" effect. And Trump support is a bit of a push-back against political correctness. Still... no military experience, no political experience.?. I predicted a decade ago (and stuck to it) that Hillary couldn't win against any opponent because no candidate has ever won with so little charisma. That was assuming she ran against a legitimate politician, of course. I never considered the idea of her running against reality-host Donald Trump. All bets are off. IGotWorms 4,058 Posted March 11, 2016 You know, it's interesting: Hilary Clinton isn't winning any states she'd actually need to win in a general election. She's cleaning up in southern states that will all be deeply red anyway and is not carrying the Midwestern swing states. I still think she'd crush Trump but it's worth noting. ZeroTolerance 584 Posted March 13, 2016 https://www.yahoo.com/politics/trump-pay-legal-fees-sucker-punch-protester-162717932.html Donald Trump says he is looking into paying the legal fees of a man who was arrested after throwing a sucker punch at a protester during the Republican frontrunner’s rally in North Carolina last week. “The man got carried away,” Trump said on NBC’s “Meet The Press” Sunday. “He obviously loves his country, and maybe he doesn’t like seeing what’s happening to the country.” At Wednesday’s rally in Fayetteville, N.C., John McGraw, 78, was caught on video punching the protester, 26-year-old Rakeem Jones, as Jones was being led out of the event by security. After the rally, “Inside Edition” interviewed McGraw, who freely admitted assaulting Jones. “He deserved it,” McGraw said. “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him.” Police arrested McGraw the next day and charged him with assault and disorderly conduct.
