Keep your head up...

Bunny....what if I told you that by placing tiny classified ads in newspapers I was able to make $50,000 per week from my one bedroom apartment.

Wait.....sorry...that's Don Lapre.

He also killed himself

Maybe a bad example.

Im not a bankruptcy attorney but you can easily find one. Its really not that bad. Weve occasionally had clients that had to go that route (after Im done with em, hah!). Folks think its going to be this huge awful burden and for most it just isnt.

They think theres stigma and I guess there can be, but why? Many of the wealthiest most successful people have had to use the tool of bankruptcy at some time or another. And thats all it is, a tool to get you out of situations like this so you can go on being a contributing member of society. Theres a time youll have difficulty getting credit but even that goes away. And living without credit is something most of us could probably stand to do anyway.

What I wouldnt do is use your personal assets to save the business. Hopefully your personal assets are separate from the business and they must remain so. Then you can just sever the business through bankruptcy and go on as if nothing happened to you. Youll need a new job, sure, but thats about it.

Now if you have already tapped or mixed your personal assets that does make it more difficult. But theres always options which an attorney could review with you.

Im just now seeing this thread.

Im a little intoxicated....but Bunny, I get being tired. It may be similar or may not be, but I was explaining last week that Id never rob my daughter of her dad...Im incapable of it.... but I just wish I was already 85, had already overcome all these mistakes, and I was winding this thing down with grace.

But we have to earn that. We dont get to shortcut it and tell them to ignore the way we overcame our hurdles. We have to earn that for them.

May the Geek Club be the rock you cling to.

For the uninitiated:

(not sure if Saints is a Widespread fan, but first time I heard this song was at the Nolaween shows in '00,

one of the greatest shows I've ever seen, LG&M, Red Hot Mama>Sharon,Ride Me High, Encore: Soul Kitchen, Trouble, :headbanger: )

One of my favorite ends to a tv episode/season, "Whiskey, Weed, and Warren Zevon" :

RIP Warren. ETA: And RIP Houser.

I'm broke. My business is broke. My dad left me a cluster fawk of crazy. I morgated my life to keep a business going until after Christmas. I have some credit to pay the payroll and bills. But after next month, I have nothing.

I have a life insurance policy. I'm done whenever that's gone. It's all I have to leave.

Time to move on.

Ive been broke for years. Its just stuff. You can get thru it. Bankruptcy now a days you can keep almost everything

okay....so ....not sure if what you were posting before was real or a fishing trip.

BUT...if it was real....stop. Re-read it. Now read the post I quoted.

See the difference a day makes? The next time you are feeling not so positive about things....remember that.

In college...some speaker that came to one of our classes said "Don't sweat the small stuff.....and don't forget, it's ALL small stuff"

He should do a GC bunny tour.

He came to NY with his extended family but I was vacationing out in Montauk (annual vacation with 7 other families and friends). I hoped he'd come out for the day but it didn't work out.

Opportunity missed on both our parts.

I missed him when I went to New Orleans. He had some family commitments... invited me and my friends but it did not work out.

Attorney and CPA are in Vegas being old men for the holidays. My personal banker (44ddd) gave me an extra line of credit. Not much, but enough.

Wish it was enough for a NY trip. My favorite town.

The way I figure it, I got two more months. Not going to change the outcome. Just a little more time.

Invest it all in Cryptocurrency. You will multiply your money. Especially if you plan to blow it anyway.

Im beginning to suspect that bunny isnt planning on needing to triple his money, or the banks rather. Sounds like this might be a last hurrah sort of thing.

Take the 50G's and move to chiner. You'll be able to live like a king for years. And if volty and titans can get laid there, you'll be a walking stud factory.

Live like a king? Not exactly. I mean I make (net) $26,000 here from my main job, and only work 14 hours a week for about 9 months of the year, and while I certainly live far, far better than you could on that in America, Id hardly say you could live like a king for years.

Now you could easily start a business or something with that and never have to work again really.

The getting laid part, yeah thats certainly true. Like falling out of a boat around here.
