F.B.I. Raids Office of Trump’s Longtime Lawyer Michael Cohen

Recommended Posts

Wait...whatever happened to RUSSIAN COLLUSION!

My God, the left has moved the goalposts so many times we've almost forgotten where it started.

Make no mistake, getting Trump was ALWAYS the goal. Anything less than that is absolute, complete and utter failure. Don't be fooled by the ever changing goalposts and contorted excuses.

So far we've got no Trump, but Facebook trolls, porn stars and taxi medallions. Great work!

Another blank fired by the left. The clown show continues.

Someone should splice together Mueller and Rosenstein running around with the tune from Benny Hill playing.

Where you been? Mueller and Rosenstein are implicated in sh!t going back to Uranium One and possibly beyond. I never said Trump's attorney was on the left because he's the one who got his sh!t raided.

You think its only evidence about Cohen and not his dealings with Trump?

I do. However, they are f-ing with Trump. Scary to think that any lawyer who would take Trump as a client would have to worry about the FBI breaking down their door.

A. Dershowitz is a joke.

B. Only raided if you are lying scum who has likely committed crimes.

C. I think the raid relates to his dealings with Trump and Trumps ownmout denying knowledge of the NDA was a part of this. Threw Cohen under the bus and put him on a mess. But there are other aspects to it as well.

They are f-ing with Trump? You think hink the FBI, DOJ, and several judges are f-ing with him?

Your opinions are all based in a fantasy that getting Trump by any means necessary is of paramount importance.

My opinions are based in a constitutional reality, and the reality that it is not in the best interests of this country to go after the President's lawyer to get to the President. The most likely scenario in the real world is that Cohen is shady and had some shady deals that the FBI knew about and sat on. Same with Manafort, Gates, and Vander Zwaan. All of who are under indictment or sentenced for crimes that have nothing to do with Trump.

Your first statement is your unfounded opinion. I have never once advocated for anything close to by any means necessary nor even getting Trump.

My posts have been based in the facts as they are known.

There is no constitutional reality about going after a lawyer. If he has done something criminal...its in the best interest of the country and constitutional to go after him. Thats the reality.

Why is Dershowitz a joke? Just curious as to your view on it. No links, just your opinion as to why? I always thought Dershowitz was a highly regarded constitutional and civil liberties attorney. I also thought he was viewed as a top scholar in those areas of law. He's advised many past presidents Dem and Repub alike. So why is he a joke now?

Well here's where I tell you it's because Alan bashes this entire investigation.

Then sho is going to come in and tell us how middle of the road he is despite never bashing anyting Democratic or left-leaning.... But he'll disguise it and saying it's for this excuse for that but really we know why.

There I just saved us 5 minutes.

He has basically been lobbying for Trump at this point. Much of his opinion has been on solid ground at this point over the last few months.

His thoughts on obstruction from the President have been beat up pretty good by most all.

I think the last year or so he has gone from arguing sound legal points...to being almost a paid Schill for Fox News.

Its that almost every statement he has made in opposition of this investigation have been wrong. Not just because I say so...but because the Supreme Court says so (when it comes to obstruction).

You claim I never bash anything dem or left leaning (wrong...I bashed Hillary quite a bit and stated I would never vote for her...and never did and never will).

Ive criticized handlings of things from left and right.

I think right now...the GOP is a complete mess falling in line with a lying crooked con man and that has nothing to do with left or right (there are plenty of conservatives who are not on board with Trump...because he isn't conservative). I also believe there are no real fiscal conservatives around anymore.

Why is because he has been wrong...factually wrong.

I think it's in our country's best interest if Presidents know not to surround themselves with extremely shady people.

Just a fundamental difference in viewpoints I suppose.

We don't arrest President's or other high up political officials. That's what Banana Republics do. Many fail to see that here. Can't beat someone? Fine, take them down "legally".

So his legal opinions, opinions are key here, "have been solid". But since he believes Trumps rights are being violated, and he gets air time on fox, he's a "schill"? He won't get air time on CNN and MSNBC anymore :dunno: I wonder why?

1. So a long time respected civil liberties and constitutional lawyer believes the Presidents rights are being violated.

2. Dershowitz used to be on CNN and MSNBC as a guest speaker on such violations many many times in the past. Now that his opinion differs, nothing. Why?

3. Now, the left hate him. Hmmmm. Sounds like how Republicans turned on Mueller. :dunno:

It's insanity that Dershowitz is considered a "schill" because he believes opposite of the left. The guy is a legal scholar on constitutional and civil liberties law. One of the most respected attorneys alive. Well, next to worms .

Trump denied knowing about the NDA to who? Some reporters? As far as I know he hasn't given testimony or been deposed. Lying to reporters is a crime now? Wow.

Wow, I had to blow through this stuff, the paranoia and conspiracy theories and gymnastics were getting that bizarre.

Just help me out with two questions okay?

Trump is on record as saying that nobody around him have any contacts with Russians. That was very early on. He had no contacts with Russians. He had no relationship with Putin. Even though he's also on tape saying he and couldn't have a great relationship. And then it turns out that literally people in his own family have multiple relations with Russians and have repeatedly lied about those relations.

How do you reconcile the obvious lie from the obvious reality?

The Trump Tower meeting. First, it was said that Trump had no idea what was going on in those meetings had no briefing on the meetings whatsoever. And then it was revealed that Trump himself made up an absolute lie about the meeting being about Russian adoptions. However, his own son screwed him on that one by releasing all of the emails indicating the truth about that meeting. Thus proving Donald was absolutely lying about the nature of the meeting and about the fact that he had never been briefed on the meeting.

I don't want to hear what about. I just would honestly like to know what's going on in your brain pan to get past those two most obvious lies where he's already been caught red-handed. Thanks!

Muellers work is legal...as was this warrant.

If...big if...it leads to impeachment that is a legal process.

And who is talking about arresting a sitting president?

Obstruction? Not if there is legal reason to do so. But you seem to be deflecting from another thread to here.

Destroying evidence would be a form of obstruction.

The supreme court has never made such a ruling about prosecuting a sitting president for obstruction :dunno:. So what ruling is he opposite of the supreme court?

"The U.S. Supreme Court has never decided whether a president may be criminally prosecuted while in office, and the U.S. Constitution doesnt give a direct answer".
