There are a ton of existing technologies that frankly just aren't being used. I've already been developed and tested and we're just not using them. Everything from natural gas to algae-based biofuel and Aqua culture. And the crap load else. The idea that we're going to outspend Mother Nature is farcical. To the extent that we end up moving Some Communities further inland? Well boohoo. Europe has been doing that for about twelve thousand years. the idea that we're going to spend a zillion dollars basically terraforming our own planet? Please.
