Which democratic candidates do you like?

You'd be dead.

While I would hope I wouldn't have died - - as my type was treatable - - I guess I would also need to factor in the up front wait time for original diagnosis. Dragging out the time period to see original doc, try some antibiotics, determine no change, get referred to ENT doc, perform biopsy, come back for results, and THEN start treatment could have resulted in a much worse road I had to travel.

Guess that's just my white privilege talking, though.

Let's use this for Day 2 of the debates I suppose.  Early observations as they go through their opening arguments.

1. That national anthem was horrible, made my ears bleed.

2. What's with the black shoes with navy suits?  Brown shoes are much more fashionable.  The only one who did it was the dorkiest guy on stage.

3. Tulsi Gabbert is quite  .  I noticed sweat on her cleavage, which I only noticed because she is  .  Also, she served in the military so I'll give her a chance.

More to come...

What time did the debate start? Focking was 9:00 yesterday but I logged in at 8:59 and it was already however far in they were.

Tulsi Gabbared is crushing it.

Yang is doing well, just sounds so much smarter than all of them.

Biden is taking lots of arrows but holding his own.

The rest are C Minus or worse.

Harris was pummelled.  F grade.

Women should be paid the same amount as men if we're doing the same job. Equal pay! I'm for that!

I think Yang and Gabbard have well thought out policies and actually believe what they are saying and agree with some of it. I can respect that. I disagree with every bone in my body there policies as a whole are good for America though.

Problem is "same job" is convoluted.  The pay gap is a red herring.

If Joe gets the nod, Harris, eying the VPO spot,  will make sure he knows that she gives a fantastic blow job and that Willie B will vouch for her skill set.

Harris is conflating the "gender pay gap" numbers as all Dems do. Equal pay for equal work, yes OK. But that's not why men earn more than women overall across all professions. I don't want to go into detail on this now though as I'm watching the debacle debate.

It is illegal to pay women a lesser amount for the same job.

Right?

Not a single one of these dipshites mentioned that Obama/Biden continued W's exact policy in Iraq and Afghanistan. Exact same timeline on withdrawal from Iraq that W proposed.

And let's not forget Obama/Biden drone wars in Yemen, boots on the ground wars in Lybia, Egypt, and Syria.

I guess if the media doesn't cover it then it never happened.

And Tulsi, Trump is supporting Al Quida?

😅

I only watched the first hour or so but this debate was not nearly as good as last night’s. Biden I think just doesn’t have it. He gets in some decent lines here and there but otherwise it’s a whole lot of nothing. He’s old, yes, but he’s also had a couple failed presidential campaigns before. Harris I do not like. Booker is kind of a weirdo. Forget about the rest of them.

Right?

I hope not. It should be a law that women are required to make less than men because they miss more work

I should say Inslee did well from what I saw but it was always a non-starter for him. Maybe he’ll get a cabinet post

Presidential primary candidates, that is.

If you don’t like any of them, feel free to say so. No need to make your point further, though.

If you like a couple of them but you’ll vote for Trump anyway, well that’s irrelevant. Question is do you like em not whether you’re planning to vote for em.

For me:

Biden

Bullock

de Blasio

Inslee

Ryan

Sanders

Warren

1. Yang

2. Gabbard

3. Biden

4.  Mayor Pete

5.  (Tie)  All the rest are trash

After seeing the highlights, I think Biden has the best chance. Not because he has done anything worthwhile, but because he handles the attacks very well. A bemused confidence.

Everyone else is just trying to score 15 second Twitter clips.

I don’t get how a guy who is calling for a Universal Basic Income somehow became a darling of the right.

He makes Sanders look centrist.

UBI, oddly enough, is not really seen as a liberal idea. Not sure why that is, but it does give me encouragement as we may very well need it some day.

Welfare encourages you to sit on your ass.

If one day some thunderbolt from God gave an inkling of incentive to get off my ass and actually work and marry my babymomma, it'd be stupid to do so. I'd give up all my benefits.

At least UBI is for everybody. You get your check, you can go work too without penalty.

I am liking Delany and Gabbard a ton right now, and Yang is on the bubble for me.....there is some quality in the list of candidates that seems to have been hidden behind all the trash that the media is trying to put forward.

Gabbard, I must say, has a lot more substance than I thought. She was impressive. Would make a fine VP choice

I think UBI is a terrible idea that has a 100% chance of failure if full removal of welfare is a part of the deal.  If it's not, then it's only going to encourage a higher rate of welfare recipients as it's about a $2500 raise.  If full removal does happen, then 35% of the black community will be in shambles.  If people think Chicago, Baltimore, and alike are garbage now, just wait to see the fireworks after a single mother of 2 on welfare goes from about $40k to $12k.  This plan will not encourage them to go get jobs.  Because the left needs to continue their financial slavery of the black and Hispanic communities, they will come up with new plans that will give them what they were getting under welfare, but they'll call it something different.  They'll do that, because they'll need the Republicans to say "No", so that the Dems can call the Reps racist.

I wouldn't count on that. If Hillary had picked Sanders as her running mate she would be president right now. But she couldn't because he dared to run against her.

You can't rip into Joe like that and get picked for VP. Well maybe you can, Dem men are seriously cucks... or maybe just the younger ones. I've no way of confirming this but Tulsi or Klobuchar probably have better smelling hair.

Dumb. It ain’t “cucks” or whatever. In politics you have to set aside the past and move on. If that person has a base of support you need, you swallow your focking pride and make nice. It’s a dirty game

We all know Biden does not give a ratsass about immigrants or LGBT... or healthcare for all.  He is a traditional Democrat.  If he would just stand up and say so, he might win in a landslide.  Trying to "outliberal" each other may get you to the Convention, but it will be a humbling election.

Correct.   If it replaces all the other more liberal entitlements like Welfare, food stamps, etc etc. which can be taken advantage of.   MDC, Republicans aren't heartless human beings, we just hate bad ideas and don't really care for your feelings.
