You mean a “summary” doctored by the White House? At this point you’d think not much since they’ve had several months to scrub it, but who knows. They apparently thought the July 25 summary was “perfect” when it showed a US president undermining national security interests to extort a foreign government into investigating a domestic political rival, so they ain’t that brought. OR they know you guys will support Trump no matter how badly he abuses his power.

We know Trump did it. They all do it to some extent. The only difference is Trump is more upfront about being corrupt and hypocritical about pointing out other people’s corruption. He’s not going to get removed from office so other than chortling at the mental gymnastics of Trump’s cultists this is a waste of time.

I mean go ahead and investigate it - we got 10 Benghazi investigations over 5 years, so we can carry this Ukraine thing through next November. I just don’t see much happening beyond a formal censure.

Wait, more upfront about it?  We actually have video and audio of Biden doing exactly what they're (the Dems), are claiming Trump did.  The difference is, Biden literally admitted it and Trump clearly didn't do it.

 

Bottom line is, there will never be an impeachment and this is all a waste of time.  The reason there won't be, is because the Republican's control the Senate.  There is a 0% chance they vote him out.  The only shot the Dems have, is to have the inquiry not starting until next September (or so), so that the hearing can run during the elections.  Once Trump wins next November and the Republican's win the House, the inquiry will stop and there'll be no vote.

That's not what I'm arguing at all.  I'm specifically arguing that you have an issue with calling Biden, or anyone else running for President, a political rival.  It's an accurate description.

No, it's not.  All I was doing is correcting you by saying that using "political rival" is actually accurate.

I don't think Biden is untouchable at all.  If Trump was strictly going after Biden because he did something illegal then there is nothing wrong with that.  If Trump was doing it in order to gain an advantage in the upcoming election then it would be illegal and Trump should be held accountable.  I don't see how they are going to prove it one way or the other so I don't think anything will happen to Trump from this.
