Elderly lady died of Covid.  She went to my hometown church.  She was vaccinated.  Her doctor said they wish they would have done some kind of infusion, and her family said they wished she had gotten the booster.  

Both my cousin and her husband got Covid and were vaccinated.  Cousin got it just 3 months after her 2nd vax shot.

Right now the biggest spreads are in the upper midwest-those geniuses in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio  and our rocket scientists down south. These are people who are so defiant and spiteful against wisdom/Dems/Biden that they'd rather die than be smart and get immunized. If we'd have had ANY other president in history when this all broke out beside "combover" we'd have ALL been alot better off-he blew it. He was more worried about being re-elected than people dying.

It was weird.  We had a birthday party for my daughter last November and every man got covid but only like two women did.  No kids got it.  At the time there was no vaccine and now my wife is vaccinated.  I don't think the vaccine does shite.  She has the exact same symptoms I had and looks to feel exactly the same.

I have yet to meet a person who has had covid twice.

Yep. 2 of the guys I work closely with. The other is a pharmacist. She was double jabbed and had the booster. Got it in January 2021 and November 2021.

Seeing a healthy toddler pulling on his mask while mom is fighting with him infuriates me to my core.  Seeing some idiot from my neighborhood in the grocery store meandering around while I know his wife is at home with Covid infuriates me.  I hate you all.  This Covid is not unlike the stomach flu or regular flu.  If you or a loved one is sick, keep your stupid azz at home its just being a good person and thinking of others.  The government mandates suck....yeah....telling grown adults they HAVE (by law) to stay home is not a workable message.  Ummmm.....how-a-bout we strongly encourage the masses to do things to mitigate spread all the while being completely transparent (looking at you Fauci) and stop fear mongering and more fact finding from the media?  Crazy talk I know.  Sometimes you attract more bees with honey than vinegar. 

Watching Australia and Germany disintegrate to a police state over this is eye opening and mind blowing.   It amazes me how quickly people will give up personal freedom, something men and women well before us fought and died for, so easily.  And a person reading that may laugh, but *change* like this normally isn't a speed boat making a sharp left turn....its a large Cruise Ship slowly but surely turning left whilst none of the passengers ever noticing. Until they hit the iceberg.

I don't disagree with a lot of this.

Except saying that the vaccine is like taking Nyquil for a cold.   This vaccine (particularly the mRNA ones even with 2 doses) are very effective, especially at preventing hospitalization and death even longer than 6 months.    It is more effective than the flu vaccine.  And how do you even know the flu vaccine gives protection for close to a year anyway?  They want you to get them every year, and flu season is pretty much only in the winter.

I had it, we have discussed it, I have had close contact with groups of vaccinated people who have called me and said they had covid, one group I was one of 6 and the only one who wasnt vaxxed and didnt get covid a second time
