So basically if you are under 40 covid likely won't have a significant impact, but you can get a vaccine that will give you a higher risk of heart problems.

I'm not sure that is entirely correct, from what I've read (not just internet junk) Covid can cause heart issues too....about the same rate as the vaccine so its a coin flip.  Just sayin'.

It's not a coin flip if you're under 40 according to their study.  it clearly says if you're under 40 the mRNA vaccines carry a greater risk of heart issues than getting COVID.

Maybe I was looking at a different study, I have young kids so it may have been under 18.  Either way....if its a coin flip I'll pass.  Point being is I agree with your general premise.

That's the right move.  Even if it's 50/50, opting for the vax is a 100% chance of exposure.  Taking your chances with COVID at least allows for the chance that you don't ever get it.

So I have a 9 and 12 year old.  I normally go to places like Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, hell even WEBMD etc to get my medical info.  They all say to vaccinate every living person, from 5 years old up.  Okay I say, I'm just KSB a regular parent just trying to make the best decisions I can.  Then I dig in, dig deep.  You read the fine print on the loans you probably sign without reading?  Not me.

Well guess what?  The FDA gave "Emergency" use for the Pfizer vaccine based on a study of 4,600 kids over 2 months.  Look it up, google the hell out of it.  4k kids after only 2 months study.  That is such a small sample size in retrospect to  a country of millions of kids and only two months trial time?  That is a joke.

I've previously expressed concern about the myocarditis risk for young people from the mRNA vaccines.    I haven't looked too much into the J&J, it does seem more rare than myocarditis from the mRNA's, but also more serious.   I bet part of the talk of potentially pulling the J&J may also have to do with that it's not as effective as the mRNA's.

I was asking for your link for why me saying the vaccine was 60-80% effective against infection was false.   Other than 1 graph from Israel, most others have been in the range I listed during the Delta wave (including other data from Israel).   Or do you disagree because you think it's higher than that?

it is false because we have no antibody testing done. Any statement of fact about the success of the vaccine alone in world conditions cannot be correct.  The effectiveness can only be assumed in lab conditions.
