Heck even the VP Twitter Fear Mongerer (Pres probably Dr Ding) Eric Topol posted this claiming to show why we should have recommended boosters for all adults earlier - 

 

65+ sure, but I don’t see much difference below that.  And not much difference at any age in the March/April vs May/June timeframe - people that got vaccinated in Jan/Feb probably the most at risk and likely not as many people that got vaccinated in July.  I stand by my belief that 2 shots are good for people under about 50.

I'm trying to decide about the booster.  I'm far enough away from chemo that I'm not immunocompromised any more, but a respiratory illness of any kind would suck given my laryngectomy.  But part of me thinks Omicron is a good variant to get.

Basically I'm more convinced than ever that it is when not if we are all going to get Covid, so what is the best way for me to get it?

Quebec new restrictions just announced at 1 pm. Bars, gyms, spas, cinemas and schools all closed until Jan. 10th. Restaurants only open between 5 pm and 10 pm and you must present QCR code for sitdown. Require vaccine passport to attend church. Working from home is now mandatory.

I've been taking the stuff since 2005, and the last 5 years have been gout free.

If I could make a suggestion, maybe start thinking about rationing the meds a bit. Maybe take a pill 2 out of 3 days instead of every day. I'm good for every other day myself, and I have many pills to spare.

The world leaders are irrationally starting to threaten lock downs again, and it's a good idea to have stashes of everything, including medicine. They shut down banks around here for many months, so I wouldn't put it past those bums to shut down pharmacies.

This is how I feel about it as well. 

I have travel coming up in March, I'll probably have to get a booster by then. But the rest of the family is like, "meh." 

I've told Lurch from the start that we will all eventually end up getting covid.  It just depends on how it hits us I guess.

Some of y’all scared of this vaccine are weird.  I’m against government mandates and fully realize they are trying to push this on the public but even then……

If you have ANY underlying condition or of a certain age you’re nuts not to protect yourself.  

Is it the cure-all we were lead to believe?  No.  But you have to talk to your doctor and weigh the costs vs benefits on a personal basis.

A lot of people have already had Covid and don't even know it.  I'm not sure the exact percentage but in a good percentage of people it's asymptomatic despite anything Tim Hack might say.

I’m the same.  Half my friends kids recently are vaccinated.  They all seem fine.  You read up (not Facebook and not media) but places like Mayo Clinic and John’s Hopkins) and they recommend for all.   It truly is a weird time as a parent because you want to make the right choice.  
 

I also know people that have died.  A buddy of mine, 40 years old was in the hospital for weeks.  He is a pretty fit dude and they never told him of any other conditions after all the tests.  Stuff hit him like a ton of bricks.

No way.  Not ANY underlying condition.  The people dying have SERIOUS comorbidities.  Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, severe pulmonary disease, severe heart disease.  They are on daily medication that is extending their life.

The fact that people have died, more than all real vaccines over the past 20 years COMBINED AND you have ZERO recourse if something happens to you -  The real question is how insane does one have to be to allow this crapola to be injected into them having no idea what it could do to them in 5 years AND now knowing it doesn't even work as advertised. How would you define "a lot"?   Confirmed cases are around 16% of the population, CDC estimates 31% as of 10/31 (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#national-lab) - I don't think that's too far off, I would guess it's not more than 50% though.
