What if China did create/unleash COVID (from a lab)?

I’ve long suspected this came from a lab. I don’t take it as a given since, you know, there’s no proof yet, but it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

And what of it anyways? What did Trump propose we do about it? Did he want to go to war with China or something? Of course not.

Of course there's proof.  It's circumstantial but any decent lawyer will tell you that circumstantial evidence is often as good as if not better than direct evidence.

I posted the following link in the Doomsday thread:

https://thebulletin.org/2021/05/the-origin-of-covid-did-people-or-nature-open-pandoras-box-at-wuhan/

It makes a compelling case that this virus was released from a lab.  Based upon that and other stuff I've read I believe that to be true.  I have no reason to think it was intentional.

One of the things the article talks about is the safety level in the labs.  This type of research requires BLS4 safety levels.  FTA:

Quote

A second reason for the severe danger of novel coronaviruses has to do with the required levels of lab safety. There are four degrees of safety, designated BSL1 to BSL4, with BSL4 being the most restrictive and designed for deadly pathogens like the Ebola virus.

One reason for SARS1 being so hard to handle is that there were no vaccines available to protect laboratory workers. As Daszak mentioned in the December 19 interview quoted above, the Wuhan researchers too had been unable to develop vaccines against the coronaviruses they had designed to infect human cells. They would have been as defenseless against the SARS2 virus, if it were generated in their lab, as their Beijing colleagues were against SARS1.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology had a new BSL4 lab, but its state of readiness considerably alarmed the State Department inspectors who visited it from the Beijing embassy in 2018. “The new lab has a serious shortage of appropriately trained technicians and investigators needed to safely operate this high-containment laboratory,” the inspectors wrote in a cable of January 19, 2018.

The real problem, however, was not the unsafe state of the Wuhan BSL4 lab but the fact that virologists worldwide don’t like working in BSL4 conditions. You have to wear a space suit, do operations in closed cabinets, and accept that everything will take twice as long. So the rules assigning each kind of virus to a given safety level were laxer than some might think was prudent.

Before 2020, the rules followed by virologists in China and elsewhere required that experiments with the SARS1 and MERS viruses be conducted in BSL3 conditions. But all other bat coronaviruses could be studied in BSL2, the next level down. BSL2 requires taking fairly minimal safety precautions, such as wearing lab coats and gloves, not sucking up liquids in a pipette, and putting up biohazard warning signs. Yet a gain-of-function experiment conducted in BSL2 might produce an agent more infectious than either SARS1 or MERS. And if it did, then lab workers would stand a high chance of infection, especially if unvaccinated.

Much of Shi’s work on gain-of-function in coronaviruses was performed at the BSL2 safety level, as is stated in her publications and other documents. She has said in an interview with Science magazine that “[t]he coronavirus research in our laboratory is conducted in BSL-2 or BSL-3 laboratories.”

“It is clear that some or all of this work was being performed using a biosafety standard — biosafety level 2, the biosafety level of a standard US dentist’s office — that would pose an unacceptably high risk of infection of laboratory staff upon contact with a virus having the transmission properties of SARS-CoV-2,” Ebright says.

What likely happened is they were conducting research at safety levels below what they should have been and it somehow got out, possibly through an infected person.  We know three researchers from the lab were hospitalized just before the sh*t hit the fan.

As I said above I don't think they let this thing out intentionally.  I do think they need to held accountable for doing research at inappropriate safely levels.  Unfortunately, the organizations that are supposed to police world activity will push this under the covers.  There should be worldwide outrage at the Chinese for not providing the evidence and data they are hiding so that they world can understand what happened.  We shouldn't even have a thread like this because we should already know.

The Chinese should also be held accountable for not telling the world about this sooner.  Their silence cost a lot of lives that didn't need to be lost.

Nothing will happen cause Biden is in their pocket. So is Hollywood and the NBA. You really think they’re going to do anything to them when you’ve got Chinese people literally putting people in prison and giving them scores based on how well they conform to society?

This. The wacko liberals are brainwashed and will beleive whatever they are told by their rulers. There will be a next one from China. They may do it covertly next time but it will be traced back to China. The libs will put their masks on and submit as they always do.

The bats are from nearby here; I'm glad they took them to a research lab far away, three provinces over.  Focking Wuhan.

Agreed. I hope they are eventually held accountable and still think it’s possible. In many ways it makes sense to first get through the pandemic and then focus on figuring out what happened and what to do about it. I think we’re beginning to approach that point and hopefully some appropriate organization (preferably international) is up to the task.

The WHO is absolutely in bed with China and tried to hide who was responsible. The CDC is complicit too. Fauci probably paid for the whole thing.

Trump told us and the liberals did what they always do. It's so frustrating dealing with a population who are mentally ill and having politicians, the media, academia, and corporations preying on those sick people.

Worms here is a classic example. It's just sad and frustrating all at the same time. In 66 years we here in America when from the first air flight to landing on the moon. Today half our population doesn't know what bathroom to use.

Trump exposed most of it.

I could totally seeing it accidentally escaping a lab.  However it’s the lack of transparency and cover up that is worse.

IF this happened the world would have had a huge heads up and more information earlier. That’s the really troubling part. Again, if this happened.

What convinced me was Chinas response to the virus. The fact they took such extreme measures told me this wasn't just some mutated in the wild flu.

During their 15 second tour of the lab, the WHO was told by the Chinese that there were 59 isolated cases, and ALL came from the wet market because human to human transmission was not possible.  And the WHO passed this on as fact.

Ever get the feeling that humans are not an intelligent fire form?  That we are not mature enough to handle hyper advanced weaponry?  We're just lucky there hasn't been a global nuclear war yet.  We're not good.  We're just lucky.

That said, I'd take him over this Biden Harris race war cult all day long.

3. I absolutely believe the virus came from the lab. The cover up was too frantic for anything else.

And of course, to this day, they still blame the US and foreigners for bringing it into China.

Sadly we have the capability to but somehow some of the dumbest people have risen to the level of power that reduces us to what we are. This planet could continue to evolve instead of peaking a couple decades ago but the 1st thing that has to happen is selective breeding. The stupid need to go the way of the dinosaur instead of reproducing like a virus.

Hey stupid, just wanted to remind you that the guy you voted for ended the investigation that was underway into the origins of the virus. Snapped  his fingers and just ended it, no reason given. But the mean guy is gone.

If anybody read the LONG article I posted in the Doomsday thread last week, it makes a helluva compelling case that this was a lab leak. The guy the US picked to be US representative on the WHO team sent to Wuhan, was the same guy that Fauci awarded a research grant to that funded the coronavirus research there.

Hey cuunt, how about this?

(CNN)President Joe Biden said Wednesday he has directed the US intelligence community to redouble their efforts in investigating the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic and report back to him in 90 days.

The announcement comes after a US intelligence report found several researchers at China's Wuhan Institute of Virology fell ill in November 2019 and had to be hospitalized -- a new detail that fueled further debate about the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.
"As part of that report, I have asked for areas of further inquiry that may be required, including specific questions for China. I have also asked that this effort include work by our National Labs and other agencies of our government to augment the Intelligence Community's efforts. And I have asked the Intelligence Community to keep Congress fully apprised of its work," Biden said in a statement.
The President said: "The failure to get our inspectors on the ground in those early months will always hamper any investigation into the origin of COVID-19."

Biden said in the statement that in March he directed his national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, to task the intelligence community with preparing a report on the most up-to-date analysis of the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic, including whether the virus emerged from human contact with an infected animal or from a laboratory accident. Biden said he received that report earlier this month and asked for additional follow-up.

There is also the problem that once every several generations, society produces a super charismatic leader that can cause the public to swoon to him and override all logic and get himself made dictator.

And he caught worms. Apparently the "scheme", which was totally public, to send protective gear to a country that was the epicenter of the pandemic was a huge lib conspiracy. Remember that was back during the "ventilator" scam that the news was pushing on the lib idiots, and they were eating by the gallon. To bring it up now and prove how taken you were, and still are is just sad indeed.
