How many times has the building been inspected since the early 1990's?  Building inspectors are pretty good at knowing when something is about to fall apart. Can't fathom how they missed it.

A lot of Florida is built on reclaimed swampland, so the foundationis seldom ideal. Then whatever structure you put up on the land has to be able to withstand hurricanes. They know that but they also know what they're doing, as a lot of Florida buildings do withstand multiiple direct hits. Judging by the twitter post above, suspecting then knowing exactly which building it was, this sound like negligence.

This would be the most terrifying thing ever if you were in that building. Woken up by collapsing rubble all around you. I’m pretty shocked there aren’t more dead but there’s still time and plenty missing.

They never fixed anything and did awful things like used cheap flammable paint that made buildings quickly burn and kill residents. There is no such thing as "Flammable paint"

Oil based paint is flammable when it's wet, but not when dry.  And it's not cheaper, and it doesn't cover drywall or cement very well.

shhh... don't let anyone know this, but the vast majority of Jewish people are Democrats whom politicians listen to.  Also, in government, since 1950, there's been 127 Jewish people in Congress... of which, only 18 were Republicans.  Currently, there are 9 Jewish Senators, all of which are Democrats (Bernie Sanders claims to be Independent, but we know he's not), as for the House, there are 28, of which, 26 are Democrat and 2 are Republican.  So currently, there are 37 Jews in our current government and 35 are Democrats.  So, when you harken back to why the ghetto is the ghetto, just remember that the people you voted for were causing it to happen.

Im sure this thing was built elevated with parking underneath.  I'm envisioning sub par concrete that expose steel rear I'm the support columns.  You can imagine what 20 years of salt air does to exposed rebar.

I'd been thinking foundational because (everything on Twitter is true and someone linked to a guy who posted that said)  it was known to be sinking millimeters at a time over the years. The only thing I think we can safely rule out 'hurricane.'

Were any of them Orthodox?  The Orthodox are a specific group that often have conflicts with other non-Orthodox Jews, including in Israel
