I thought the FL law was bigoted and not necessary as this supposedly wasn't being taught for kids K-3?

Wasn't there a report about NJ doing this as well?

Yup. NJ starts in the fall on first graders.

The system my kids go to is doing great.  Both are smarter and better educated than I was at their ages.  My son tells me sht all the time that I assume he’s lying about, but then I look it up and find that it’s true.

After Being Denied Tattoo, Sixth Grader Decides To Have Gender Reassignment Surgery Instead

While satire it does make me wonder about the expenses associated with a kid getting a sex change without parental approval.

Does the parents' health insurance get dinged for the bill?  If not then who ends up paying for it?

School Board member worried about a single person distributing info to parents.  The truth needs no defense. Your neighbors, I believe, @KSB2424???

This is her too. Woke white women are have to be the most despised demographic.

Not sure if this was already posted on the moon, but here's an article with examples of the CRT content in the MATH books that FL rejected:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/florida-dept-of-education-releases-4-examples-of-math-textbook-content-rejected-for-public-schools

In one of the screenshots, the text describes the Implicit Association Test which measures levels of "racial prejudice" while displaying a graph suggesting conservatives are more inclined to be racially biased.

"What? Me? Racist?" another screenshot from a textbook reads while also discussing the Implicit Association Test.

Two other screenshots encourage students to "build proficiency with social awareness" and engage in "social and emotional learning."

Unreal.  I’m so glad parents are taking this destructive ideology on. Sad that many teachers are in on it and support it.

I don’t believe it. The bored lefties, including a part-time teacher, assured me it’s not happening.

At what point is it deemed widespread and no longer just fear mongering?

It’s refreshing to see some groups stepping up and calling bullchit despite what the bored guidance counselor would have you believe.

I watch this kid's Youtube channel.  Actionkid.  It's walking videos of and around NYC.  I have been watching him for a few years now.  Today I go to his channel for the first time in a while and his newest video is about him moving.  To Florida.    Everything liberals touch turns to utter sh1t.  It is so funny and they will NEVER take the blame.  It will always be someone else's fault.

After that they ran away from it. Like I said, their ideas suck, time and again.

Yeah, the teachers are just hapless employees doing as told.

What is the left's fascination with a failed black quarterback?  There's plenty of successful ones. :dunno:

So the NYSUT (teachers union) successfully lobbied to suspend teacher evaluations for another year. The Governor will be signing it.

It didn’t happen in my district, so this is a non issue.

When you look at the total number of teachers and aides in the US this is statistically insignificant, therefore this falls under the "it happens but isn't widespread" portion of the playbook.

Teachers are compensated adequately, it's not a position that requires uncommon skill. Completely ordinary occupation for completely average people.

Well, we are falling behind in this country. Take them to the movies on your time.  I’m so uncaring, I know.

Let’s hope they behave in public as well as they behave in school, where the teachers are showing them how to. Good grief.
