Wrong.    Sessions recused himself from the Russia stuff over Trump's vociferous objections (and it turned out Trump was right - Sessions recusing himself was a big mistake).   Barr wouldn't go harder after the election stuff, Trump REALLY wanted that.     Those are two I thought of just off of the top of my head.   If I did a little research - there are more examples.

I can't picture Obama's "wingman" saying "No" to anything the messiah wanted.   Probably up to and including sexual favors. . .
