That's all we can ever hope for when it comes to our kids. While my daughter was in high school she out of the blue claimed she was bisexual. She went on one "date" with a gal - which I think was just hanging out in a park together - but that was it. Don't know if she was just trying to shock us or what but she's been in relationships with dudes ever since. Unfortunately she's picked some real focking losers. My wife and I actually thought her meeting some nice intelligent gal that was also in college wouldn't be so bad compared to the dipsh1ts she dated and we couldn't focking stand. In fact the silver lining of me dealing w cancer was it finally opened her eyes to realize what a loser her boyfriend was and how he was trying to drive a wedge between us and her. Anyone who's had teenage daughters know that you need to bite your tongue if you despise their boyfriend or they'll stick with them longer just to prove you "wrong". Cancer for the win!
