No, there is a difference between masculinity and a toxic brand of masculinity.

Toxic masculinity teaches that men need to be dominant, aggressive, and powerful.  To achieve these "ideals", men need to engage in certain behaviors, many destructive, like using women for sex, ignoring your emotions and the emotions of others, idolizing money, possessions and career successes, using others for your gain, acting in a selfish and narcissistic manner, acting like you're better than others, avoiding meaningful relationships, prioritizing anger, strength and aggression, there may be more...
