I first heard about this the other day, but it seems to have intensified and now everyone hates this bratty actress that was hired to play the new Snow White. 
She’s anti original Snow White and anti male, saying the Prince was a creepy stalker and all his scenes could be cut. This will be interesting to follow before its release in 2024

Sad News from Disney!

CNN just reported that Disney new film "Jet Black", the African American version of 'Snow White " has been canceled.

All of the 7 dwarfs: Dealer, Stealer, Mugger, Forger, Drive By, Homeboy and Shank have refused to sing "Hi Ho, Hi Ho" because it offends black prostitutes.  They also said no way in hell they are gonna sing "Its off to work we go"

Sure, I can see how a person might think the story is dated.  So why not come up with a new fairy tale to communicate their message?  Oh yeah, it would bomb, so they are trying to ride the coattails of a known classic.

Totally agree.  I do think changing the dwarfs to the 7 lgbtq’s or whatever was dumb.  And while I think the original story isn’t exactly politically correct, I certainly wouldn’t broadcast that if I was cast in a lead role in it.

Good.  At this point, the best thing that could happen is that Disney would go bankrupt and all the pieces sold off.

That, or Bob eiger- who really started all of this mess in the first place- fires everyone that works there and brings in people that actually know how to make movies that people want to see, and not some politically or agenda driven horseshiat for "modern audiences".

Interesting that my take in this thread resulted in your analysis but whatever. I find your 4 examples absurd and evidence that you don’t really understand liberalism. I’m not a leftist because in MOST cases, not all, I’m skeptical of top down approaches: I’m a firm believer in capitalism and that the free market usually produces the best results. But not 100% of the time. Sometimes government has to step in, as in some of the examples you brought up, but these are the exceptions to the rule not the rule. 
 

Your biggest error in political analysis is that you assume a level of rigidity that doesn’t apply to most people: I’m not a leftists but I often agree with leftists, I’m not a conservative but I often agree with conservatives: I don’t consult a guidebook.
