I for one would not advocate our POTUS going to somebody else's active war zone.

That being said, it was said above that Israel itself is not in imminent danger.  If true, I guess I don't have a problem with it.  But I find it hard to believe it is THAT safe.

Also, what exactly is he going to do?  I doubt the IDF needs a doddering fool to babysit.

The problem with this story (the hospital) is the truth truly does not matter. Particularly to Israel's adversaries. The "righteous" anger against Israel that has been inflamed will carry on. There are opposing "realities" and their supporting sets of "facts." And now more anger/seething hatred over Israel's "outrageous lies." Devilish situation.

Indeed.  It doesn't really matter what Israel did or didn't do from a perspective of creating enemies because the citizens of these islamic states are trained to believe Israel is evil and are probably told that Israel bombs mosques and hospitals daily.
