Cops have entered the plant to contain the protests as the protestors are getting more and more mostly peaceful.  We have old women that are stuck in the plant because we have been instructed to shelter in place.  Nice work douchebags.

They've vandalized signs, thrown things at guards and got into confrontations with the poor facilities guys that have been pressed into security duty.  

Half the people can't get into work.  Fortunately I work across the street in a non-descript building, so I've been pretty unaffected.

I'm with you on this one. I saw the video of the man trapped in his car in Minneapolis. The crowd is then chasing him in their turbans. F that! Trump would probably go easier on them than I would. Whatever they're doing to curtail these protests, doesn't seem near enough.

I hear you. I was agreeing with everything KSB2424 said. I have no problems with protests in general. When protestors start to threaten and endanger non-protestors, I think that crosses the line. That one video struck a nerve with me. I used to live in the Twin Cities and have been at that very intersection many times. I could just easily see that man trapped in his car being me. Where was the police presence? IMO, there should have been plenty of police there to protect the people in traffic or those that might have accidentally stumbled into that mess. Round up anyone getting out of line and show no leniency.

When the MIT stuff was posted I thought about one of my best friends from South Boston.  He had some townie friends from his neighborhood who, let's just say, didn't mind getting into a scrap.  I could see them throwing on some yarmulkes and walking through a protest, waiting for someone to get in their face.  Wannabee tough guy protestors would not have liked the result.

Good Will Hunting was a pretty good representation of the area.  As it should be I guess, since Damon and Affleck both grew up in the Boston area (not Southie though; I just read that both went to Cambridge Rindge and Latin, a well-known prep school).

Interesting, thanks.  I presumed it was a prep school because it is a few blocks from Harvard, feeds a lot of kids into the Ivies and MIT, and has a good history of athletics (Patrick Ewing went there back in my day, I think).

No, both of these politicians are using or will use the current crisis to limit American protections and privacy.  The UniParty is the life long political bureaucrat tied into big bank, big Pharma, big tech and big defense all whilst enriching themselves.
