I wonder if the folks training up in the hills according to Maxine Waters will come down if Trump loses the verdict.  her prediction was they would come down if he loses the election but maybe they have advance squads ready to come down early.  If so will they be identified by wearing MAGA hats or will they be dressed like Shamen?

Will Bobby DeNiro need a protection force and if so how will that be comprised?

What has Biden done recently to hide something that may hurt his election chances?

We know for a fact there was collusion between our intelligence agencies, the Bidens, news media, social media, and search engines to bury the Hunter laptop story.   That was actual primal collusion abusing the resources of government to coerce private agencies which actually altered the outcome of the election.  But here we are worried about a note in a check stub which no one would ever see.

No we don’t. And your incessant whining about that is really tiresome at this point. It wasn’t collision, it wasn’t censorship, it didn’t affect the election outcome, it was completely meaningless.

The initial crime is how he paid her off. He lied his ass off. If you think he did it to hide it from people for the election you get to the rest.

You aren’t on the jury so your opinion, and mine, are worth about as much as a cup of Denny’s coffee.

Again, watch this video and think about this video the next time you try to explain this to jonmx

You don't think the suppression of the Hunter laptop story had ANY impact on the election?

The parties involved in suppressing it obviously did.

Polls have shown that it did.  Tim loves to practice denial when facts don't fit his world view.

The suppression of Hunters laptop absolutely affected the election.  Otherwise they wouldn’t have done so much to suppress it.  🎤

It’s Day 22 of Trump’s NY election interference trial.

Court begins at 10 am ET with Judge Merchan charging the jury (reading the jury instructions to them) and then they begin their deliberations.

When they return a verdict is anyone’s guess. But after being off for a week and then being in court until 8 pm last night, I suspect a fairly quick verdict.

Biden campaign, Blinken orchestrated intel letter to discredit Hunter Biden laptop story, ex-CIA official says

April 21, 2023

Brooke Singman

A former CIA official testified that then-Biden campaign senior adviser, now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken "played a role in the inception" of the public statement signed by current and past intelligence officials that claimed the Hunter Biden laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

Former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morrell testified before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, and revealed that Blinken was "the impetus" of the public statement signed in October 2020 that implied the laptop belonging to Hunter Biden was disinformation.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner, R-Ohio, sent a letter to Blinken Thursday, notifying him that the panels are "conducting oversight of federal law-enforcement and intelligence matters within our respective jurisdictions."

"We are examining that public statement signed by 51 former intelligence officials that falsely discredited a New York Post story regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop as supposed Russian disinformation," they wrote. "As part of our oversight, we have learned that you played a role in the inception of this statement while serving as a Biden campaign advisor, and we therefore request your assistance with our oversight."

In October 2020, weeks before the presidential election, dozens of ex-national security officials signed onto a letter claiming that Hunter's laptop had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."

The former officials included former Obama CIA Director John Brennan, former Obama DNI James Clapper, and former CIA director, then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, among others.

The lawmakers said that based on Morell’s testimony, it is "apparent" that the Biden campaign "played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election."

They're both guilty of suppression of information- both Trump and Biden. This is just stupid. Politicians do this all the time. Doesn't make it right (or wrong for that matter), but to act as if this is somehow exclusive to Trump is just stupid.

Politics is a dirty, corrupt business. Either throw the whole batch out or quit targeting one in particular.

MERCHAN: It is not my responsibility to judge the evidence here. You are to judge the facts and determine if the defendant is guilty or not guilty.

MERCHAN: “You must set aside any personal opinions or bias. You must now allow any such opinions to influence your verdict.”

MERCHAN: You will recall that you heard testimony from David Pecker at AMI that they entered into a non prosecution agreement. I remind you that will help you in assessing his credibility and you may consider that testimony for those purposes only, and you cannot consider that to determine whether the defendant is guilty or not.

MERCHAN: You also heard testimony that the FEC conducted an investigation into the payment to Stormy Daniels. That evidence was permitted to help you assess Michael Cohen’s credibility and surrounding context. You may consider it for those purposes only.

MERCHAN: You will recall you heard Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to federal election law and that evidence goes just to his credibility and to give context and you can consider that testimony for those purposes only, the facts that MC pleaded guilty does not constitute evidence.

MERCHAN: Presumption of innocence, burden of proof, defendant remains innocent, you must find him not guilty unless the evidence is proven beyond a reasonable doubt…..

so to be clear, the jury doesn't need to agree on any specific crime at all.  Since again he still wasn't charged on that whole this is a misdemeanor if it led to another crime.

MERCHAN: Even though the defendant is innocent the burden of proof remains on the prosecution and nothing should be drawn from the fact that the defendant did not testify. To the contrary the people have the burden and they must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed that crime and if they fail to satisfy their burden of proof you must find him not guilty.

Seems like the instructions should be short and simple - "return guilty verdict."

MERCHAN: In determining whether they’ve met their burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt, you should be guided solely on the evidence….and whether that evidence proves beyond a reasonable doubt the defendant's guilt…

MERCHAN: If you are not convinced beyond a reasonable doubt on the charged crime, you must find him not guilty and if you do, you must find him guilty.

I read this until I got to Jim Jordan’s name, and stopped there.

I don’t want to feed into the distraction so I won’t belabor this. But the reason I KNOW it wasn’t suppressed is because I was aware of the story for weeks before the election. I was aware that Rudy Giuliani was talking about it and whining that he was “suppressed”; it was reported on Fox, CNN, MSNBC. I knew about the laptop. The story wasn’t hidden. Maybe somebody tried to suppress it but they totally failed.

Are we just going to ignore that it was Guiliani and Costello behind all this, and after years of trying there are no indictments as a result of this laptop.

But sure, it was hidden and cost Trump the election.

Focking clowns, every one who sucks Trump.

Why didn’t sleepy Joe just ask Hunter if the laptop was his? Why take the word of 51 professional liars? If you can’t figure out why then you’re an idiot.
