What’s really sad is that there is no aspect of the Presidency that hasn’t been superior under Biden, whether it’s the economy, inflation, immigration, foreign affairs, climate change, any issue you could name- Biden has done a better job. Part of this is by default, really grading on a curve, because it’s hard to find a worse President than Donald Trump. It’s not even a close comparison. But due to poor messaging the public doesn’t seem to get this. Too bad.

Look, it's well established that a gigantic amount of Biden's votes were simply "not Trump," including my own. I will not vote for Biden this time; in good conscience I just can't. But I will sure as fock vote for Kamala or any other Dem that can put together a coherent platform against Trump. Millions of Americans feel the same way. We see that Joe isn't up to the job anymore,  but we know damn well Trump would be an unmitigated disaster, so we don't exactly need the second coming of JFK.

You realize that this reads, "If only the public were as smart as me, the guy I like would be winning".  And while you can believe that, I admit I often have low regard for the general public at times, it's horrible political messaging.  I think the Democrats have come across this way a good bit recently.

I disagree with your statement in general, but to be as mild as I can be, your guy sucks on immigration.  The public knows that, and while age and inflation are eating his candidacy up, even if he survives the age thing he was already behind because of immigration.  I know you like open borders and unlimited immigration, but the average American doesn't.  It's really that simple, and it's why Biden was already behind.  The age thing just was tossing an anchor to an already drowning man.
