I don’t get the love for Elf. Maybe because I have been forced to watch this so many times. I kind of dislike this movie outside of a couple scenes.

It’s decent for a holiday movie. The bar is low.

I like Elf.  But only once a year max.  Every December 13th i make a big bowl of Spaghetti with Maple syrup, watch and sing loud for all to hear.

I too, dont care for him all that much.  

Anchorman came out when I was in high school.   Not perfect but loved it then.  The seniors that year who ran the morning announcements over the tvs started doing Anchorman bits and inserting quotes.  Was pretty good.  Very quotable.   

Have not seen it in a long time.

That being said, I did like Anchorman, and Old School was OK. I think those are the only 3 I've seen.

check out Stranger than Fiction, it's different. Emma Thompson, Dustin Hoffman, and Maggie Gyllenhall.

Agree with this. He has done quite a few good movies playing a normal role.

The ones you mentioned, Funny People, Hustle were all good.

This dude has an amazing career now. Got hundreds of Mil from Netflix to make movies. Picks a location he wants to live for a couple months, invites all his friends and people he enjoys working with, crank out a movie.
