We started fostering children in 2017, we have fostered over 20 children, we have adopted three, it cost us zero.

There is a difference between fostering children and adopting a baby. It cost about $20,000 to $40,000 to adopt a baby.

If you are truly interested in adopting, call your county’s CPS office, it’s free to adopt through the CPS agency, now you must get licensed, and bio parents still get to improve their lives and reconciliation with their children, and nothing is better than when that indeed takes place, but if the parents cannot reconciliation, and other family members want the children, as the children’s foster family you will be asked if you would be interested, if you say no, then CPS will find a family that would be interested, and then the children will move in with them, but if you answer yes, it takes about 3 months, at no cost.   

Adoption agencies can charge a lot of money, but want I cannot understand is why some will pay that, when you can serve your local community by becoming a foster parents, and then adopt for no cost.

There are legal costs to adopting as well.  It is not free and it is not a convenient process.

If our government wants all unwanted pregnancies to happen then they need to help make it easier for good parents to raise those children.

Its a conundrum.   I think the process is expensive and long, but then again anything the government runs will have those two factors in abundance.

I wish that process were better and people could more easily use it; though we simply MUST vet out the "bad" people who might do it for the wrong reasons or are otherwise unfit.

I think abortion should be accessible to all women. I do not want to pay for it, or help them pay for it. Anyone who does not have the money to pay for a pack of condoms and decides to use abortion as their birth control can pay for their own way......period.

But I want women to have access to it, with reasonable restraints.

This has been one of the issues that has bothered me with Republicans.  They want to get rid of abortion but have done little to help those unwanted babies after birth.  They want to close the border and make it so only immigrants come in legally but do little to make it a quicker process.

If you don't want people to abort babies and you don't want illegal immigrants then we should be giving them better options.
