FBI conducts search at John Bolton’s home

Recommended Posts

The FBI conducted a court-authorized search at John Bolton’s home as part of a national security investigation, according to a person familiar with the matter.

CNN observed FBI personnel at the former US national security adviser’s house in the Washington, DC, area. They were seen speaking to a person on the porch of the house, and at least four to six agents were seen going inside.

Some of the agents took bags out of the vehicles to bring inside, but nothing has been seen coming out of the residence.

Reached by CNN, Bolton said he was unaware of the FBI activity and was looking into it further.

The search was first reported by the New York Post on Friday. In a post on social media, FBI Director Kash Patel wrote that agents were “on mission,” but it was unclear if he was referring to the search.

“NO ONE is above the law… @FBI agents on mission,” Patel wrote. The FBI declined to comment on the search.

The probe is related to the possible retention of national security information, according to the person familiar with the investigation. Bolton last served in government in 2019 when President Donald Trump fired him during his first administration.

Trump has repeatedly gone after his former national security adviser while in office, including most recently saying this month that the media was “constantly quoting fired losers and really dumb people like John Bolton.”

The president terminated Bolton’s Secret Service detail within hours of starting his second term in January.

During his first term, the president threatened to jail Bolton after he published a book in 2020 in which he claimed Trump was woefully under-informed on matters of foreign policy and obsessed with shaping his media legacy. The book also reported that Trump asked the leaders of Ukraine and China to help him win the 2020 election.

It’s not clear whether the current probe is related to the same book dispute or involves other material.

The book included material that initially was cleared for publication by career officials at the White House, but Trump political appointees sought to overturn that approval.

I think Trump should assemble a private investigative team to search the home, finances, and technology device of every federally elected politician and employee.

Who can pay for it?  Simple, the 90% who are found guilty of the litany of crimes they committed, pay for it.  The ones who are guilty, we will seize all of their assets to pay the bills.  Then, we can hit the 50 governors.  Probably take down a good 20+ of them too.

Lets get rid of the criminal element in our government and start fresh.

Why fix inflation, healthcare, the cost of housing / education etc. when you can throw red meat to the FOX/CNN crowd instead?

🏆 💰 🤑

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) hit an all-time record high of 45,631.74 on August 22, 2025, surpassing its previous record set on December 4, 2024, and closing at 45,014.04. The rally was driven by a combination of factors, including improved investor sentiment, rising corporate earnings, and a receding fear of a recession, which benefited blue-chip stocks.

Which, of course, is weird considering we were told by the left that it actually DID matter when Biden was POTUS.  ;)

This is what a judge wrote about boltons book:

“Bolton likely jeopardized national security by disclosing classified information in violation of his nondisclosure agreements,” Judge Royce Lamberth of the DC District Court wrote at the time. “The government sufficiently alleges that Bolton disclosed information without confirming that the information was unclassified … Even if Bolton operated out of an abundance of caution in submitting his manuscript for review, the very existence of his caution leads to a fair inference that Bolton was less than certain as to the status of the manuscript. “

Again.. TDS has led to many many mistakes by the opposing party.  It blinds them with...i dont know what...rage?  They stop thinking clearly.  Honestly i have never seen anything like it

The judge wrote that 5 years ago though. If they want to prosecute Bolton for that go ahead. What’s the justification for raiding his house in August of 2025?

They overestimate their intelligence and position.  The founding principal of our justice system is that no one is above the law.

Bolton was the #1 chickenhawk a$$hole in the Bushtarded administration. It was a mistake to bring him aboard in the first place as some of us pointed out at the time. I think they just wanted to deploy his reputation and his scary war fanatic mustache on Turd World dictators, but having somebody so opposed to what Trump was trying to accomplish predictably backfired.

And now he gets labeled as a "former Trump adviser" even though it seems that Trump (thankfully) never took this POS's advice.

They're not going after him for the book.  At least thats what is being said.  Its just an example of how TDS can lead to stupid decisions.  And its a very good example of Bolton's affliction
